Kylie Jenner is certainly not the woman she used to be. At 24, Jenner is a mother of two, a TV veteran, and an almost-billionaire businesswoman.
Despite all these significant accomplishments at a very young age, Jenner was always known to be reserved and sometimes camera shy.
No more, since welcoming her second child into the world, Jenner is assertive, and a real boss lady who takes no BS from critics — cosmetic developer Kevin James Bennett discovered that the hard way.
This week, Kylie Jenner took to her Instagram page, where she shared a series of photos taken in a lab in Italy.
In the carousel of photos, the CEO of Kylie Cosmetics wore a white lab coat and appeared to be mixing several ingredients and pretending to work on new beauty products for her company and millions of supporters.
Her caption for the photos read: “in the lab creating new magic for you guys 💕 better than ever.”
Cosmetic developer Kevin James Bennett did not take long to repost the photos on his page and bash Kylie Jenner for being unsanitary in the lab.
Bennett pointed out that Jenner was in a lab setting and failed to wear a mask, hairnet, and gloves.
Calling out Kylie Jenner for taking zero precautions, he wrote: “I know the Kardashian/Jenner stans are going to come for my throat because I’m calling out their cosmetic queen…but WTF @kyliejenner 🤬🤨🤬 I’m a cosmetic developer and work with cosmetic manufacturers (and their labs) as part of my job. I have very short hair, and I’ve NEVER been allowed into the lab or onto the manufacturing floor without a hair net, shoe covers, mask…and disposable GLOVES.”
He added: “Kylie is gaslighting her followers into thinking she is creating cosmetics. And I’d like to know what ignorant manufacturer (in Italy) let her stage this photo-op in their lab and on the manufacturing floor – without following proper sanitation protocols. I need the name because I want to make sure my clients NEVER work with them. Folks, this is not the way we create cosmetics and misrepresents how our industry works. Credible manufacturers follow STRICT sanitation protocols to protect you.”
Kylie Jenner was not having it and popped in the comment section to respond to the laundry list of accusations.
Kim Kardashian‘s mogul sister wrote: “Kevin – this picture is not taken in a manufacturing facility. I would never bypass sanitary protocols, and neither would any other celeb or beauty brand owner. That’s completely unacceptable, I agree. This is a small personal space creating my own fun samples and taking pictures for content nowhere near the mass manufacturing. No one is putting customers at risk! Shame on you, Kevin, for spreading false information !!!!”
Bennett quickly responded to Jenner’s message by further calling her out for the photo-op. Jenner responded by saying she now regrets naming her dog, Kevin.
The businesswoman stated: “Were you there, Kevin? Ugh, now I have to change my dog’s name.”
Bennett returned to social media after his nasty exchange with Kylie Jenner to throw Selena Gomez under the bus for posing in the same Italian lab for photos while ignoring all safety protocols.
He wrote: “Update To Yesterday’s Post: The manufacturer where Kylie filmed her photo-op, breaching sanitation protocol, is Regi Laboratories in Italy. And I apologize for not calling out @selenagomez – I wasn’t aware she had posted a similar video visiting a lab last month. I wish I had caught that when it happened. I only saw the Kylie post because so many people DM’d me to go to the @kyliejenner IG account and comment on the total disregard for sanitation protocols at a cosmetic manufacturer. Interesting…I wonder why folks were quicker to throw Kylie under the bus than Selena? 😳”
Jenner is definitely a fierier person.
