It is official, Prince William is playing a game with Prince Harry, and he might be winning.
Prince William is flatly and boldly telling Prince Harry, “anything you can do, I do better.”
While Prince Harry is running his charities with the help of donors and out of pocket, Prince William, the future king of England, has a multi-billion dollar machine known as the mighty Monarchy and “The firm” behind him.
However, he also is ending their already dwindling relationship for good by constantly copying and undermining Prince Harry’s efforts to appear as a leader.
The Mail Plus has confirmed that Prince William will be traveling to New York next month. During the trip, Kate Middleton‘s husband is expected to give a speech at the United Nations General Assembly.
Like Prince Harry, Prince William will focus on the environment and push for significant changes to save the planet.
Indeed, less than a month after Prince Harry, accompanied by Meghan Markle, delivered remarks at the UN, his older brother decides to do the same thing.
Prince William’s trip to the Big Apple is to promote his Earthshot Prize. He is expected to travel to Boston with the Duchess of Cambridge in December to hold the second ceremony to give out five environmental prizes to those who are working to end or slow down climate change.
Like Prince Harry, Prince William has plans to mingle with some high-profile Democratic politicians and lay the groundwork for a multi-million dollar dinner/fundraiser.
The future king of England will meet with Michael Bloomberg, the former Mayor of New York City, who has a net worth of over seventy-six billion USD and is on the board of Prince William’s Earthshot Prize.
Note that the billionaire philanthropist is also a UN special envoy.
A royal insider revealed to the British media outlet: “William is planning to go over to the US for some big meetings with Bloomberg’s team, who are getting it all ready. It’s going to put his Earthshot Prize on a global footing and get some real interest going in the States ahead of the next awards.”
Many are calling out Prince William for deciding to use America as his playing field after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to California.
The Duke of Cambridge‘s surprising trip to New York comes just days after royal expert and author Andrew Morton stated that there is no reconciliation in the future for Prince Charles‘s sons.
Speaking to the Daily Beast, the author explained: “I very much doubt they will be reconciled. There is a lot of wishful thinking about this.”
Diana, Princess of Wales‘s friend and biographer went on to say: “George VI adored his brother, like Harry adored William. They were inseparable, but then he abdicated and moved abroad, and the relationship was never the same again. William and Harry are in a similar situation.”
Morton said that the sad events that transpired during Queen Elizabeth II‘s Platinum Jubilee hinted that the Sussexes and the Cambridges are a world apart.
He explained: “As we saw at the Jubilee, when the time they spent in London was brief, to say the least, there was no suggestion of having dinner or lunch or getting the children together. They will go their separate ways, and the longer Harry and Meghan stay in America, the more comfortable they will be there.”
He claimed their late mother would be devasted by the falling out between her sons.
Morton stated: “Like any mother, Diana would have been concerned about the breakdown in the relationship between her children. She said on Panorama, and she said to me, on numerous occasions, that she saw Harry as a wingman for William because his job is a lonely job, and you cannot trust many people around you. She saw Harry as being there to back up his brother, but that’s not how things turned out.”
Some observers believe his pessimism about the relationship is interesting.
