Prince Charles felt left out of his own family’s life, which sometimes took a nasty turn. It has been revealed that Prince Charles had more than one heated exchange with Prince William.
The reason? The heir to the British throne was upset because he believed Prince William was shutting him out of his life and spending more time with his in-laws, Carole Middleton and Michael Middleton.
The Duke of Cornwall felt he was also missing out on precious moments and the opportunity to create memories with his three grandchildren, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, because of Kate Middleton‘s family.
Prince Charles, who is described as a workaholic by his own wife, Camilla Parker Bowles, grew upset because his son and grandchildren were creating tighter bonds with the Middletons.
Royal editor Rebecca English said in a piece that was published in The Mail that Prince Charles “felt “airbrushed out of William’s life.”
The publication also revealed that Prince Charles has a tight schedule and diary, which means that he rarely can take part in impromptu family gatherings.
It was revealed: “Charles is a workaholic and organized his diary six months in advance, which meant he was rarely able to attend last-minute family events, including “impromptu” birthday parties for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.”
The author shared more details about the bitter rows between Prince Charles and his son: “Explosive rows between father and son were often overheard by staff, with Charles — who hates family confrontations — burying himself in his paperwork to avoid the conflict.”
In July, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, surprised many by appearing in British Vogue. The future Queen Consort made it in the fashion bible in honor of her 75th birthday.
The Duchess of Cornwall, who rarely speaks to the press, did a lengthy interview where she opened up about her marriage to Prince Charles.
In the candid interview, Camilla Parker Bowles confessed that she and her husband have busy schedules throughout the year.
The pair travels all over the UK and the world to represent Queen Elizabeth II and participate in charitable and social events.
She said: “It’s not easy sometimes, but we do always try to have a point in the day when we meet. Sometimes it’s like ships passing in the night, but we always sit down together and have a cup of tea and discuss the day.”
Many royal experts believe that Prince William is very close to Kate Middleton’s family because they have embraced him as their own.
Prince William grew up during a divorce and witnessed a complex family dynamic, which could explain why he feels at home and finds peace of mind with his in-laws.
