Bethenny Frankel is an impressive media personality with a decent following on social media. Lately, she has made it her mission to go after the Kardashian family.
The businesswoman blames the Kardashian/Jenner clan for giving the wrong image to impressionable children. The Real Housewives of New York City star shared her thoughts on the Just B with Bethenny Frankel podcast on Thursday.
She did not hold back. Frankel stated: “We need a Kardashian intermission. And I’ve honestly been afraid to say it. It’s not because Kris is the mafia and controls a lot of the media, because I don’t give a f—, cancel me.”
The New York native says that she has been “shadow-banned” on TikTok after “posting about celeb brands.”
This is not enough to deter her from telling her truth because she is still speaking up.
Frankel continued: “What are we saying to our kids? What is the message? Take it all? Be as rich as possible? Filter as much as possible? Be as fake as much as possible. Brag as much as possible?”
She did not stop there and later added: “Get plastic surgery and lie about it as much as possible? What the f— are we doing? Then do a charity donation to like rinse it over as much as possible? What are we doing?”
The mother of one claims that the media is responsible for this debacle and should stop trying to shove the Kardashians down her throat.
She explained: “Please stop shoving [the Kardashians] down my throat. [The Kardashians] are [like] a bad product…it does bad things for young people…it’s like a drug.”
People close to the reality TV family do not understand why she is coming for them the way she does. Moreover, they say she is a hypocrite because she has spent a lot of years doing the same thing on reality TV.
The Kardashians say America is a free country, and they never claimed to be role models. They say parents are responsible for the way they raise their children, and celebrities should not be blamed for what is wrong with society.
This debate is nothing new, and celebrities have long been blamed for family values being pushed aside.
Even some Frankel fans think that she is misguided in her criticism. In the 1990s and early 2000s, conservatives went after rap music and artists like Britney Spears for not inspiring children in a positive way.
Twenty years later, the popular TV personality from New York is playing the same role.
