Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, initially traveled to England to participate in charity events that they consider near and dear to their hearts.
The California residents announced via their spokesperson that they would attend two events in London and a third in Germany for the launch of the Invictus Games Düsseldorf 2023.
It has been revealed that Prince Harry did not announce his travel plans to his brother. Prince William discovered that Prince Harry and Markle would be in the UK via the media.
However, then again, there is a huge possibility that Prince William and Kate Middleton did not give Prince Harry and Markle the heads-up about their decision to visit Boston and New York this year.
Omid Scobie, the Sussexes’ unofficial biographer, explained via Yahoo: “The true story is they never reached out to the Cambridges.”
The bestselling author added: “‘People are desperate for steps to be made, but behind the scenes, there hasn’t been movement,’ explains a family friend. What [Harry] is waiting for is accountability… Many lines were crossed by William. He was at the center of a number of painful moments, be it the actions of his own staff or turning his back when support was needed. It was a dark time and one that, so far, William has been unprepared to unpack’.”
It is not known if Prince William and Middleton will be able to maintain their travel plans to the US after the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Prince Harry and Markle have drastically changed their schedule since the passing of Her Majesty.
They canceled all appearances, hit pause on all business endeavors, and will be staying in London for at least seven more days.
The powerful pair has also agreed with the newly proclaimed King Charles III and Prince William it is time for mourning and unity. Efforts have been made by all parties involved.
King Charles declared his love for Markle and Prince Harry in his first speech to the nation. Prince William reached out to Markle and Prince Harry via a text message and invited them to a walkabout in front of Windsor.
Markle and Prince Harry have laid low and thus far accepted all invitations to events paying homage to Queen Elizabeth.
Prince Harry has agreed to walk next to his father and brother on the day of Her Majesty‘s funeral.
