King Charles Issues Statement Regarding His Hurtful Phone Call To Prince Harry About Queen Elizabeth

Prince Charles Harry Meghan Markle Monarchy Plans

Amid Queen Elizabeth II‘s funeral, King Charles III, who had decided to rule very differently from his mother, issued a fiery statement to clear up rumors about a phone call he made to Prince Harry.

Via The Telegraph, it was revealed by royal sources that Prince Harry was the last to learn that his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II, had passed away on September 8.

The Queen died while in Scotland at the age of 96. The sources, who spoke to the media outlet, revealed that King Charles contacted all members of the royal family to share the devastating news before it was announced to the public.

Upon receiving the call, Prince William, his uncle, Andrew, and several other royals rapidly drove by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s home and rushed to board a plane bound for Balmoral Castle to say goodbye to The Queen.

However, Prince Harry, the renegade royal of the family, was disrespected and did not get that courtesy.

According to the British media outlet, Prime Minister Liz Truss learned of the passing of The Monarch before Prince Harry.

The insiders claimed that Prince Harry was only the last to know but possibly discovered his grandmother’s death 5 minutes before it was made public.

King Charles, via Buckingham Palace, responded to this report with a statement that read: “The public was only informed after every family member had been informed.”

The statement does not say exactly when Prince Harry got the call from his father. According to The Daily Mail, Prince Harry received a phone call from his father just moments before the news broke to the world because he was unreachable.

Prince Harry was on a private plane alone, and he was rushing to get to Scotland.

The media outlet also hinted that King Charles was irritated by the report and therefore took measures to shoot it down.

While one confusion has been cleared, another chatter involving Prince Harry and King Charles is still making headlines.

Friends of Prince Harry have revealed that he was hurt and humiliated upon discovering that King Charles and The Palace took the decision to remove the Queen’s “ER” initials from the shoulder of his military uniform, whereas Andrew, who is no longer a working royal and was involved in a sex scandal, was allowed to keep the royal cipher.

Her Majesty‘s royal cipher ER stands for Elizabeth Regina. Regina is Latin for “queen.” The person with ties to Prince Harry told royal expert Roya Nikkhah: “He is heartbroken. To remove his grandmother’s initials feels very intentional.”

The tension in the British royal family remains palpable.
