Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, have returned to California after Queen Elizabeth II‘s emotional funeral and King Charles III‘s somber accession to the throne.
Markle and her husband have literally started writing a new chapter of their lives, and this time, they have taken a softer and more conciliatory tone.
According to sources close to Prince Harry and Markle, they have decided to make some drastic changes in an attempt not to disrupt and anger King Charles. The new Sovereign is not like Queen Elizabeth, who had a soft spot for her renegade grandson.
King Charles has made it clear that he will take action against Prince Harry and Markle if they dare speak and humiliate the Monarchy or the royal family.
King Charles, who has moved on from Her Majesty‘s “never complain, never explain” mantra, has also found time in his busy schedule to dispel all rumors against him and his family.
Aware that there is a new and tough sheriff in Buckingham Palace, it has been confirmed that Prince Harry has caved in and is doing a major rewrite of his upcoming tell-all book that is due out in early 2023.
The book was supposed to come out in the fall or winter of 2022, but he decided to push it back out of respect for Queen Elizabeth. And out of fear of upsetting King Charles, Prince Harry is revising the memoir.
Sources who talked to The Daily Mail revealed that Prince Harry rapidly scheduled an 11th-hour meeting with the publishing company because he is afraid that “his final draft might not go down too well in the wake of the Queen’s death.”
Prince Harry, who signed a massive $20 million deal for the highly expected autobiography, has told the company that he needs to make “some significant alterations” because he does not want to rattle the royal family.
His request may be seen as a sign that he is ready to take a more conciliatory approach to the rest of the royal family, but it could cause problems for his publishers.
The source revealed to the British media outlet: “Harry has thrown a spanner in the works. He is keen on refinements in the light of the Queen’s death, her funeral, and his father Charles taking the throne.”
The insider went on to say that Prince Harry has requested to remove some intimate revelations and personal feelings that would not be well seen after King Charles ascended to the throne after the death of Queen Elizabeth.
The source said that while Prince Harry is desperate to tell a different story, he wonders if it is not too late.
A person familiar with Prince Harry’s predicament stated: “There may be things in the book that might not look so good if they come out soon after these events. He wants sections changed now. It’s not a total rewrite by any means. He desperately wants to make changes. But it might be too late.”
Prince Harry’s newfound goodwill might still not be enough for the new King.
