While tucked away in their California mansion, Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are said to be worried about King Charles III‘s latest bold and loud statement.
Over the weekend, before the royal mourning period for Queen Elizabeth II was over, King Charles pulled another brilliant chess move on Prince Harry and Markle.
The Palace waved the blazing sword of revenge by demoting Prince Harry and Markle on the royal website. Markle and her husband have now been cast to the bottom of the line with the likes of Prince Andrew.
It is believed that King Charles made the deliberate move because he wanted the Royal Family website to reflect on his reign, spotlight Queen Elizabeth II‘s legacy, and snub Prince Harry and Markle.
Royal experts weighed in on the situation and claimed that Markle and Prince Harry are worried that King Charles is slowly erasing them from the royal family.
Royal biographer Phil Dampier told The Sun: “Harry and Meghan must be worried that they are slowly being eased out of the royal picture. King Charles seems to be hesitating on whether to grant Prince and Princess titles to Archie and Lilibet. And the fact that they have been “demoted” on the Palace website is another indicator that they are not seen as working royals.”
He added that they would not get an opportunity to find King Charles’s good grace and added: “The King will want to make it clear that they are not working royals and can’t pose as semi-official royals. They are relegated to the bottom of the league table with disgraced Prince Andrew, and at the moment, there is no way of them climbing up it.”
And royal biographer Angela Levin believes that King Charles made an accurate and careful statement to say Prince Harry and his wife are no longer valuable to the family.
She shared: “I thought it was a very careful statement. The fact is that what they are doing is zero – it just shows people what they’re not doing and how valuable that is in the Royal Family. I think putting Harry down there at the bottom is a sort of safety valve – you don’t expect anything from them.”
The power couple is said to be determined to make things work with the Royal Family this time around. Peace will come at a hefty price for them because King Charles is showing no mercy.
