Let the backtracking season begin. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been through several seasons in the past months.

Then they were losing — they saw several publicized projects get the ax officially or quietly pushed under the rug because of lack of interest.

After returning to California, Prince Harry and Markle were cornered into what can be described as backtracking season.
King Charles III, the new no-nonsense sheriff in Buckingham, has been applying pressure and dominating the narrative thanks to his odd dance with Archie and Lilibet Diana‘s titles.
The King has constantly dangled the threats of making Prince Harry and Markle unimportant if they humiliate the Monarchy.
The shocking decision taken by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark to strip four of her grandchildren of their titles gives King Charles full cover to do the same to Prince Harry and Markle.
For all these reasons, Prince Harry and Markle are trying to polish and water down their projects, but they are up against some giants.

The California-based duo has reached out to the heads of Netflix to talk about making major changes to their upcoming docuseries.
The power couple has deemed that some of the revelations and truths will irk King Charles, and they have requested that they be cut from the series. However, the heads at Netflix are not having it.

An insider said this about Markle and Prince Harry’s predicament: “Harry and Meghan are having second thoughts on their own story, on their own project.”
According to another industry source, the former actress and the prince have been panicking. The insider explained that Prince Harry and Markle want to walk back some of the things that they have said about their lives and epic story in the docuseries.
Prince Harry and Markle want to backtrack so much content from the project that it might get canned.
The person shared: “Harry and Meghan are panicked about trying to tone down even the most basic language. But it’s their story, from their own mouths. They’ve made significant requests to walk back content they themselves have provided — to the extent that some Netflix staff believe, if granted, it will effectively shelve the project indefinitely. Netflix is standing by the filmmakers.”
However, Netflix is moving forward with docuseries as is, which will lead to significant trouble for Markle and her spouse.
The insider stated: “Netflix has made it clear that the project is going forward.”
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not really have a way out.
