King Charles Changed Policy After Meghan Markle And Kate Middleton’s Uncomfortable Situation

Despite Meghan Markle sharing the truth about her mini scuffle with Kate Middleton, many chapters are still being written about the matter.

In Valentine Low’s new book, Courtiers: The Hidden Power Behind the Crown, he revealed that Markle and Middleton got into a heated and emotional exchange days before the royal wedding to Prince Harry.

The two royal ladies disagreed over bridesmaid dresses, which led to a crying session. For years, the media claimed that Prince William‘s wife was in tears because of something Markle told her.

However, in her sit-down with Oprah Winfrey, Markle shocked everyone by saying that the opposite happened.

The former actress revealed: “A few days before the wedding, she was upset about something – pertaining, yes – the issue was correct about the flower girl dresses, and it made me cry, and it really hurt my feelings.”

New excerpts from Low’s book claimed that Meghan Markle became obsessed with the rumors that ran rampant in the media that painted her as the guilty party.

Markle was relentless in her efforts to get Buckingham Palace to issue a statement to clarify the situation.

However, the senior royals ignored her pleas because Queen Elizabeth II lived by the rule that she would never correct the record when lies or inaccuracies about the Royal Family were printed in the media.

The author revealed that Markle felt uncomfortable that the media printed multiple pieces and that there was a “division between” herself and Middleton.

According to excerpts obtained by Page Six, Low stated: “The truth is that after the dress fitting, Meghan had become obsessed with trying to persuade the palace press office to put something out denying the story.”

Low claims Buckingham Palace declined to intervene because they did not deem the story important.

He wrote: “[The palace] were equally adamant that it would be a serious mistake to start briefing about personal stories relating to differences between members of the Royal Family, which is why nothing was refuted. It was what Markle took particular issue with – that the media got the story wrong – and no one stepped in to correct it…the palace did not want to “fan the flames of the story.”

King Charles III has taken a different approach with the media that is light years away from his mother’s archaic policy.

The new King‘s official spokesperson and top senior aides are quick to address rumors and leaks with official statements via PEOPLE, The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, and The Daily Beast.

For example, King Charles has addressed every speculation about Archie and Lilibet‘s title change.

Earlier today, the Sovereign shut down the report that his coronation would take place on June 3rd.

King Charles has made it clear that he will extend an invitation to Prince Harry and his wife to attend the coronation whenever it takes place.

King Charles cleared the air about the snub that took place with Markle and Prince Harry’s seating arrangement during The Queen‘s funeral.
