Megyn Kelly does not only cover politics, but she also shares her thoughts on current events, and every once in a while, she dabbles into the celebrity world.
This week, the conservative media personality set her sight on the Super Bowl — more specifically, the halftime performance during a discussion on women “embracing their bodies” on her SiriusXM podcast, The Megyn Kelly Show.
Megyn Kelly and her guest, comedian Bridget Phetasy, had an eye-opening conversation about women “embracing their bodies” when the topic of the 2022 Super Bowl show came up.
It was announced that billionaire businesswoman and music superstar Rihanna will headline the major event in 2023.
The gathering took place in Miami, and organizers saw it fitting to have two of the most prominent Latinas in the industry on stage.
Jennifer Lopez and Shakira, who have each sold 80 million records worldwide, picked about a dozen songs from their massive catalogs to perform that night.
The pop divas also dipped their toes into politics and critical social issues. While discussing Lopez and Shakira’s mini-concerts, Kelly did not hold back.
Megyn Kelly, appalled by the outfits that Lopez and Shakira wore for the performance, surprised many by opting for a rather crude word to express her feelings on the matter.
The former Fox News darling said she disapproved of the performance because the artists exposed their vags.
Megyn Kelly stated: “I object to like J.Lo and Shakira showing their vag at the Super Bowl. Like, I don’t want that. It’s gotta be situation appropriate.”
After slamming Shakira and Lopez, the 51-year-old reporter praised model and activist Paulina Porizkova.
The model, 57, has made it her mission to let the world know that women are beautiful and sexy at any age.
The fearless Swedish influencer recently shared a photo where she bares a lot of skin in a thong bikini, and Kelly loved it.
Kelly stated: “Paulina Porizkova just had a really interesting post. She showed her bottom [and] she looks amazing.”
Megyn Kelly was bashed by some for using a vulgar term against two minorities while celebrating a White European woman.
Kelly also received the backing of many women who were bothered and frustrated by the skimpy outfits that they deemed too revealing for the children who were watching at home.
Lopez, who recently wed Ben Affleck, has not responded because she is busy honeymooning and swimming in marital bliss.
As for Shakira, she is very much occupied as her family life falls apart. She ended a decade-long romance with the soccer star Gerard Piqué after a public cheating scandal.
