The ladies linked to Justin Bieber for different seasons made an appearance at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures’ 2nd annual gala Saturday night in Los Angeles.
After years of chatter that Hailey Baldwin Bieber and Justin Bieber’s ex-girlfriend were feuding, the ladies put on a united front while looking stunning.
The singer and the model posed in a series of pictures where they made goofy faces and smiled while embracing each other.
The pop superstar, 30, kept it classy in a black suit, while the influencer, 25, went glamorous in a tight dress that featured a cut-out around her belly.
A source close to the trio spoke to ET and revealed why they made a public statement with the photos: “…they wanted to show that there’s no beef or bad feelings. Selena and Hailey were both super chill together at the Academy Museum Gala. They’ve both moved on and are happy in their own lives. They wanted to show the world that there’s no beef or bad feelings between them anymore.”
The insider also revealed Justin Bieber had this reaction to the pictures: “Justin is very happy with the fact that they can all move on and that it can be peaceful between everyone.”
The surprising reunion comes just days after Hailey Bieber appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and denied rumors she “stole” Justin Bieber from Selena Gomez.
She cleared the air by revealing: “It’s hard for me to talk about this because I don’t want to talk on either one of their behalfs, again, because it was their relationship, and I honestly respect that very deeply.”
She added later: “I just feel like there’s a little bit of that anxiety of people will probably take it the wrong way or I just don’t want to say something that is being disrespectful or bringing up something that can stir up feelings for someone. I know that we’re just all so moved on from any type of drama, and I’m so happy for that, so I get nervous about talking about it because I don’t want to like stir anything up or bring anything up that is going to be like a thing.”
Gomez and Justin Bieber dated on and off from 2010 to 2017. The Canadian crooner and Hailey Baldwin were close friends for over a decade and got married in 2018.
