Who needs lip readers? Prince Harry and Meghan Markle said loud and clear what was on their chests to their close friends during their ten-day stay in London.
In early September, Prince Harry and his wife had to change their traveling plans drastically. The royals had initially traveled to Europe to participate in multiple charity events.
However, on September 8th, Queen Elizabeth II died peacefully while vacationing in Scotland. Markle and her spouse reconnected with Prince William, Kate Middleton, and King Charles III during the events before and after the funeral.
Several public and private moments hinted that some kind of truce had been brokered between the parties.
Prince William reached out to Prince Harry and Markle and invited them for a walkabout in front of Windsor Castle.
However, there were instances that confirmed Prince Harry and Markle were not fully embraced by the Royal Family. Reports claimed that Middleton never spoke to Markle during the trip.
King Charles also showed his power and anger by publicly humiliating Prince Harry by removing Queen Elizabeth’s initials from his military uniform.
Those looking from the outside wondered how Prince Harry and Markle felt about the snubs and embarrassments they were subjected to.
Columnist Richard Johnson spoke to some of Prince Harry and Markle’s close friends residing in London who spent time with them during The Queen‘s funeral.
The British pals quickly ratted them out and revealed that Prince Harry and Markle “whined” about their unjust treatment by the royal family.
He wrote in New York Daily News: “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s friends in London are whispering that the former royals have been complaining they were snubbed and mistreated at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral.”
The friends went on to say: “They both whined that the family wasn’t as welcoming as they should have been.”
It has since been revealed that Prince Harry and Markle were not fully embraced or forgiven by Prince William and King Charles because there is a lot of distrust in the air because of the Oprah Winfrey interview and the upcoming tell-all book.
A royal insider with ties to Prince William told The Mirror: “Any talk of a truce between the Prince and the Duke would only be temporary. There is still a serious amount of distrust in the air, and there hasn’t been any cause for that to change.”
Kinsey Schofield, royal expert and host of the To Di For Daily, told Fox News that Prince William would never forget and forgive Prince Harry and Markle for what they did to Middleton during that conversation with Oprah.
The royal commentator shared: “A lot of horrible things were said during the Oprah interview, but what crushed Prince William was the fact that Harry would allow any criticism of his wife, the Princess of Wales, on international television.”
The journalist went on to add: “That exchange about ‘crying’ has created the worst animosity between the brothers because Harry knows how much bullying and harassment Catherine endured for nearly ten years before she got married… I think Meghan knows that she looked petty dragging Catherine during the Oprah interview and probably recognizes that she is no longer worthy of her friendship. Meghan betrayed their trust over something so insignificant.”
King Charles is also having a tough time fully and wholeheartedly taking Prince Harry into his life when reports claimed that he would put Camilla Parker Bowles in a negative light in his tell-all book.
