Another day, another twisted layer is added to the already complex situation between Olivia Wilde, her new boyfriend, Harry Styles, and her ex-partner, Jason Sudeikis.
This time around, Florence Pugh has been added to the vortex. According to TMZ and Page Six, Wilde and Sudeikis’s former nanny, Erika Genaro, who has been talking a lot, claimed that Florence Pugh was also in a brief relationship with Styles.
If the revelations are accurate, that implies that the British pop star dated both Wilde and Pugh while filming Don’t Worry Darling.
It might also explain why Wilde, the director of the thriller/horror movie, butted heads with her leading female star.
According to the publications, Genaro said that Sudeikis confessed that Styles and Pugh were intimate. The ex-nanny stated: “Flo was f–king Harry and she had a boyfriend.”
It has been widely speculated that Wilde and Pugh had numerous fallouts on the set of the scandal-plagued movie.
An insider shared this tidbit with Page Six, saying that the British actress was furious seeing Wilde, a woman in a long-term romance, hooking up with her co-star on the Palm Springs set.
One industry source told the New York-based media outlet: “I can tell you for a fact that Flo seeing Olivia and Harry all over each other on set did not go down well, as Olivia was still with Jason when she first hooked up with Harry.”
Erika Genaro did a bombshell interview with The Daily Mail, where she aired the former couple’s dirty laundry.
The ex-employee stated that the former Saturday Night Live star discovered that his marriage to Wilde was over when she prepared her special salad for Styles.
The disgruntled staff member also said that in an attempt to prevent Wilde from leaving the family home and him — Sudeikis made the senseless decision to throw himself under her car.
She said: “The night she left with her salad, Jason had chased after her, videotaping her in the house. She was saying: ‘I’m scared of you, Jason, I’m scared of you.’ And he said: ‘If you’re scared of me, why are you leaving your kids with me? It was back and forth. He said he was doing it on purpose to make her late going to see Harry. Jason told me: ‘She made this salad, and she made her special dressing, and she’s leaving with her salad to have dinner with [Harry].'”
While Wilde and Sudeikis do not see eye to eye, they made the effort of releasing a joint statement where they slammed the accusations and revelations made by the former employee.
The former couple stated: “As parents, it is incredibly upsetting to learn that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous accusations about us publicly,”
They added: “Her now 18-month-long campaign of harassing us, as well as loved ones, close friends, and colleagues, has reached its unfortunate apex. We will continue to focus on raising and protecting our children with the sincere hope that she will now choose to leave our family alone.”
The chatty nanny cared for the couple’s two children — son Otis, 8, and daughter Daisy, 6.
