King Charles Swiftly Reaches Out To Prince Harry Over This Sensitive Situation Amid The Family’s Shock Over Controversial Book

King Charles Prince Harry Meghan Markle Decision

Rather sooner than later, King Charles III took action against Prince Harry after revealing that his tell-all book is titled Spare and will be released on January 10.

The new Monarch has announced that he is appointing himself as the next Captain General of the Royal Marines.

Many assumed King Charles would have graciously appointed his sister, Anne, Princess Royal, but he had other plans.

The Duke of Sussex received the prestigious honorary military role from Queen Elizabeth II in 2017

Prince Harry was stripped of the patronage after he and his wife, Meghan Markle, shocked the world with the decision to step down from their royal duties and move to California.

The King is aware of the “sensitivity of the situation,” and The Daily Mail revealed that he first contacted Prince Harry to inform him of the pending announcement.

Prince Harry did not have that courtesy for King Charles — he did not reach out to royal family members before unveiling the book’s title, cover, and release date.

Thursday night, Prince Harry was informed of his father’s decision to take on the role himself before it was made public.

The King accompanied the announcement with a message to the Royal Marines as they celebrated their 358th birthday.

King Charles said: “It is the greatest possible pleasure to assume the role of your Captain General. I am exceptionally proud to follow in the footsteps of so many members of my family over the last three-and-a-half centuries, all of whom held the role with a deep sense of admiration.”

He added: “The Royal Marines have a distinguished and unparalleled history, both on land and at sea. I draw immense inspiration from your courage, determination, self-discipline, and a remarkable capacity to endure in the most extreme environments.”

He continued: “I feel greatly honored to become part of the Corps Family and very much look forward to meeting many of you in the near future. In the meantime, this comes with my heartfelt and special wishes for a very happy 358th birthday. Per Mare, Per Terram.”

The move by King Charles is viewed by royal observers as a way to put his foot down amid the confirmation that Prince Harry will share his raw feelings and personal truths in the book.

A royal insider told The Mirror that the Royal Family was surprised by the title of the book.

Another source told The Mirror: “The book could spell the end for any reconciliation efforts between the Sussexes and the royals: This book could spell the end for any relationship Harry wants to have with his family; it’s desperately sad.”

Prince Harry is determined to put his truths out there.
