However, since it was confirmed that the memoir will arrive in stores on January 10, 2023, the leaks have been hitting the media with a loud bang.
Throughout the week, multiple sources close to Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and King Charles III dropped a few comments and quotes here and there to get a better feel of the book.
It was revealed via The Telegraph that Prince Harry shared the title and cover with the Royal Family before they were sent out to the media. Royal insiders claimed that Prince Harry would talk about his family.
A person told The Daily Mail that things are about to get nastier before they ever get better in the rift between Prince Harry and his relatives.
On Sunday, some of Prince Harry’s closest friends, confidants, and ex-girlfriends decided to betray his trust and talk to the media about the book’s content.
The pals and former lovers made the embarrassing revelation that Prince Harry reached out to many of them over the summer and asked them to share some intimate stories in the book.
Meghan Markle’s husband wanted his friends to talk about his difficult and painful childhood.
As for the women Prince Harry previously dated, they were supposed to talk about their failed romances and share never-heard-before details about the former soldier’s personality and habits.
According to The Sun, all of the associates of The Duke of Sussex told him no.
One source told The Sun: “Friends and girlfriends were polite and said they would think about it, but ultimately, most said no.”
They were baffled by Prince Harry’s request because he has always made it clear that they should never share private details of his life with the media, and all of a sudden, he was asking them to do the complete opposite.
The pal, who leaked the story, claimed: “It was felt to be kind of ironic Harry would hit the roof if he ever had an inkling they spoke to the media, but now wants them to when he needs their help.”
The friends’ decision to give Prince Harry no extra ammunition against the royals is great news for King Charles III, who will be Prince Harry’s main target.
The Telegraph spoke to sources who have read the manuscript, and they explained: “The book is expected to take aim at members of the Royal family by delving into the cycle of genetic pain and suffering that he has previously described, for which he appears to blame his father, the King.”
