King Charles’s Dignity Is Just Collateral Damage In Prince Harry And Meghan Markle’s Big Picture

Prince Harry will release his tell-all memoir, Spare, on January 10, and supporters of the British monarchy are not happy with some of the things that they are hearing about it.

King Charles III knows that the book is not going to be flattering. The Monarch even expects that his wife, Camilla, Queen Consort, may be embarrassed by the content.

British observers expect the renegade royal to revisit his childhood via his parents’ divorce and the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

Meghan Markle‘s husband is selling the book as a therapeutic journey and a guide towards healing. However, it might be more than that.

Prince Harry is married to a woman who has roots in Hollywood and the entertainment world. So, he has to find ways to fit in this industry.

In that sense, the book is also his golden entry to that new scene. He is not an actor, singer, or entertainer, but with the book, he can connect to that universe.

The way the book is being promoted has Hollywood written all over it. There is a lot of drama and mystery to create more interest in the content.

Moreover, it is likely to come as a double package with the premiere of the power couple’s Netflix documentary around the same time.

Even the presentation plays on that angle with the cover that was shot by Ramona Rosales, who has collaborated with Markle in the past.

Two popular royal commentators say that Prince Harry is going to Hollywood with his book. Rachel Burchfield and Jessica Robinson believe that he is doing a lot of things like his wife.

On the Podcast Royal, Robinson stated: “The cover is a close-up photo of his face in what looks like the warm California sunlight. He’s got one of those expressions where you can’t really tell what he’s thinking; it’s not really a smile because his mouth is closed, but it’s also not overly serious, and I don’t think he looks upset in the picture.”

She continued: “And the photo was apparently shot by the same photographer who took Meghan’s photo for her Variety interview. The cover of the book is giving Hollywood vibes for sure.”

Burchfield went in the same direction and added: “[It looks] like a movie poster of a science fiction film — he just looks very pensive. I can definitely see the parallels between Meghan’s photo for Variety and his photo. It’s an interesting photo. It’s maybe not my favorite of Harry, but it does the job.”

Media personality Piers Morgan has also accused The Duke of Sussex of copying tennisman Andre Agassi‘s 2009 book.

In short, the memoir might be less about taking down the Royal Family and more about building up Prince Harry as a pure celebrity. The royal is paying his dues to find his place in Hollywood.
