A lot has been said about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Still, this week, a royal expert has focused on a new angle while scrutinizing the power couple — their relationship.
Royal expert and author Tina Brown, who is promoting her new book The Palace Papers: Inside The House Of Windsor – The Truth And The Turmoil, revealed that Prince William picked the right woman to marry but unfortunately, not the same can be said for Prince Harry.
She elaborated by saying that Prince William and Kate Middleton‘s union works because they “calm each other down.” Prince Harry and Markle “wind each other up,” which often leads to chaos and mayhem.
The author also claimed that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have a shared “addiction to drama.”
To come up to these conclusions, Tina Brown said that she spoke to 120 royal insiders and family friends of the royals.
In a sit-down interview with The Telegraph, the royal expert had this to say: “William and Kate calm each other down a lot; their marriage works very well in that way. In the Sussex marriage, they wind each other up, and it’s Us Against the World, and that’s a disaster.”
The English journalist warned that Meghan Markle had “completely and utterly taken over Prince Harry, and his whole personality has changed. I do question how it will end.”
The magazine editor concluded: “[Maybe] he’ll wake up and realize he’s living in Goop (Gwyneth Paltrow’s wellness company), and he has to get the hell out, go down the pub and see his friends.”
In a recent episode of her Spotify podcast Archetypes, Meghan Markle happily and calmly revealed that she is living the dream family life with her husband, Prince Harry.
The former actress raved about having a wonderful and supportive husband who is present for her and their young children, Archie and Lilibet.
Markle gushed: “Oh, my husband? Oh, he’s great!” Markle confirmed that she takes her role as a wife and mother seriously.
Via Variety, she explained that she loves winding down with her husband and watching old movies with him.
Markle said it is “important” to cook for her family, and she is happy to share the same home office with her husband.
She stated: “We work from home, as most people started to do during the lockdown. It allows us to have significant time with our kids at this really special moment in their lives. We’ll never get this time back.”
More intimate details will be known about Prince Harry and Markle’s high-profile romance thanks to their docuseries that will air on Netflix.
Some reports indicate that Prince Harry has reached out to the streaming giant and requested that the series debut in January, around the same time his tell-all book Spare is published.
In a recent interview in Variety, Markle confirmed that the documentary about her life with The Duke of Sussex is coming.
The former actress hinted that she wished the director, Liz Garbus, had taken a different approach to the project: “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story—a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired—even if it means it may not be told the way we would have told it. But that’s not why we’re telling it. We’re trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens.”
The power couple will dominate royal circles in the next few months.
