Pete Davidson is focusing on his career and taking care of himself. However, his relationship with Kim Kardashian, which ended a few months ago, is still grabbing headlines.
The former Saturday Night Live star did not appear on her reality show, The Kardashians, but he was heard. Fans have been on the lookout for a small cameo from the funnyman.
However, this has not yet happened. Moreover, after the most recent episode, his presence seems less likely. Davidson was cut from the SKIMS founder’s visit to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not headquarters in Orlando, Florida.
He was there with the mother of four at the time of filming. A video that appeared online in May showed the 28-year-old actor with a blue baseball cap.
There was no such thing in the “I Never Thought I’d See The Day” episode. Fans barely saw a glimpse of a man with a black and red shirt that matches the May footage.
It is possible that he asked to be removed because the process was done awkwardly in the cut that premiered Thursday.
This is the latest indication that supporters might never see him on the show.
Even when Davidson and Kardashian were still together, he was not comfortable being in front of the camera, filming his daily activities.
Kardashian previously said in the confession: “This is like my thing, so he’s just going to support. When the cameras are up for him, it’s for a skit or a role. It’s not what he does. I’m obviously going to talk about what’s going on in my life, and he’s a part of that, but I also respect that this is like my job, and this isn’t his job. So you might get a glimpse here and there, but it’s just… it is what it is.”
Davidson is still filming the Peacock series Bupkis with acting legend Joe Pesci in New York City. The breakup seemed amicable, but contrary to reports, the exes are not in touch.
The SNL alum reportedly dealt with a mental episode last month while working on the project. A source told The Sun: “Apparently, Pete’s been given some time off to get his s**t together and focus on himself.”
Kardashian reportedly ended things with him because her life is now complicated. It is clear now that she is trying to put this chapter of her existence in the rearview mirror by editing him out of the show.
He is probably doing the same thing in his own way.
