King Charles Has One Power Move That Could Put Prince Harry And Meghan Markle In Trouble

King Charles Prince Harry Meghan Markle Hope For Peace

Prince Harry and his spouse, Meghan Markle, are no longer working royals. They left their royal duties in early 2020.

Almost three years later, they still show their attachment to the perks that come from being associated with the British royal family.

After slamming the other royals in interviews, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex never miss an opportunity to present themselves as royals.

It has recently been revealed that Markle still uses stationery with her royal cypher in correspondence. This was brought to light after speaker Allison Yarrow shared a note she received from Markle after contributing to her podcast Archetypes.

In the head portion of the thank you note, there is a crown above the “M” for her initial.

While Yarrow was just sharing her pride for the kind gesture, people on social media were shocked to see that Markle still uses symbols that tie her to the Royal Family. After marrying Prince Harry, her royal cypher was unveiled in 2018.

Critics blasted the former actress for still using the royal cypher after “Megxit.” She was also labeled as a hypocrite for painting a negative image of the British monarchy in the media while not letting go of specific advantages.

Royal expert Angela Levin did not hold back. She stated via The Sun: “People think more highly of her if she has got the title – and of course if she has got the crown there… “Wow, that is absolutely amazing.”

She continued: “It is just to show off, really. She wants to do exactly what she wants. What is the Palace going to do about that? Absolutely nothing. She is pushing it as far as she can in every way she can. She is working around the world, and it is a fantastic little helper politically because everyone will think: Oh my goodness, she is amazing – that is what she thinks people will think.”

Interestingly, Markle has said in her interview with Oprah Winfrey that titles did not matter to her. She said at the time: “All the grandeur surrounding this stuff is an attachment I don’t personally have. I’ve been a waitress, an actress, a princess, a Duchess—I’ve always still just been Meghan, right? I’ve been clear on who I am, independent of all that stuff, and the most important title I’ll ever have is mom. I know that.”

With Prince Harry, they use the Archewell stationery in joint correspondence. However, on her own, things seem slightly different. Royal supporters say that she should stop using the royal cypher.

Some observers say that this gives an opening to King Charles III as he looks for leverage to protect the reputation of the monarchy against attacks from the Sussexes.

The new Sovereign has entertained the idea of removing their titles if the tell-all memoir and Netflix docuseries go too far in trashing the Royal Family.
