The move from The Duke and Duchess of Sussex also says that they are closing the chapter that involved headline-making drama with King Charles III and the rest of the Royal Family.
The pair have become serial entrepreneurs since “Megxit.” Prince Harry and his wife have invested in multiple start-ups, have launched a production company, and have inked massive deals with numerous high-profile companies.
This week, sources close to Prince Harry and Markle have announced that they are eyeing a new frontier — one that no other Royal Family members have ever reached.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have teamed up with Pax.world to launch a new business called “Meg-averse.” The power couple and business partners will be jumping into the latest trend of cashing in the metaverse.
According to The Mirror, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will build their own world in a new virtual universe, potentially reaching millions more fans and users. To join the virtual world, players don headsets.
In the virtual community, “goods, services, and land on which to build your own world must be bought with digital currency.”
Dubbed the next evolution of the internet, celebrities like Justin Bieber and Paris Hilton have already jumped on the money-making trend.
The idea, which sees Markle as the driving force, will feature avatars of the renegade royals giving speeches and hosting events.
Players of the games have to pay with digital currency such as Bitcoin to attend such events.
A close source to the British prince and the former actress told The Mirror: “Both Meghan and Harry believe they will have an even greater ability to spread their message if they have a presence in the virtual world as well as the physical world. They’ve spoken to a variety of experts, and the view is this is the next stage to take their brand truly global”.
An industry insider with knowledge of the deal added: “Harry and Meghan have already gone global. This would take them into a different stratosphere.”

World’s founder Frank Fitzgerald confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are collaborating with the company and continued: “We’re offering Harry and Meghan a plot of prime Pax.world land and the chance to collaborate with the world’s leading architects, build on it, and connect with new audiences. He revealed some of the services that the pair will be offering in the virtual world: “Imagine Meghan hosting a podcast in the metaverse or Harry hosting a conference on sustainability with world leaders without having to board a plane.”
Fitzgerald concluded that this is another step that Prince Harry and Markle have taken to move away from the royals.
He claimed: “The metaverse is tailor-made for the progressive, tech-savvy, entrepreneurial audience with whom Harry and Meghan look to connect as they turn a new page, away from the Royal Family.”
King Charles will be pleased to learn that they are looking for other ways to make money.
