In early December, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will drop their Netflix docuseries.
The documentary is part of a $100 million deal the power couple signed with the streaming service. The project is supposed to focus on Prince Harry and Markle’s love story.
Journalist Allison P. Davis, who interviewed Markle for The Cut, explained: “The couple has directly smashed rumors of a reality show, both in statements made to publications and in conversation with me. But, Meghan explains, there’s a difference between a historical documentary and a reality docuseries.”
Meghan Markle claimed: “The piece of my life I haven’t been able to share, that people haven’t been able to see, is our love story.”
However, the historical documentary will also deal with their failed relationships with numerous members of the British royal family.
Prince Harry and Markle had a change of mind and heart in the past weeks because of Queen Elizabeth‘s death.
The passing of the Queen gave the California-based couple a new perspective on life, and they understood that causing their family pain was not necessary.
The renegade royals reached out to the streaming giant and requested that the series be pushed back, and the answer was no.
The pair also wanted to remove certain revelations made in the series, and the company also said no.
Prince Harry and Markle’s failed attempts to correct some of the things they said imply that all will be out there when the series airs, including embarrassing or unpleasant conversations about the Royal Family.
It seems that the prince and the former TV actress had some dirt on the behaviors of King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince William, and Kate Middleton, and babbled it out.
The source told Page Six: “They want to downplay much of what they have said about King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.”
The person confirmed: “Harry and Meghan are panicked about trying to tone down even the most basic language. But it’s their story, from their own mouths.”
Another insider added: “They’ve made significant requests to walk back content they themselves have provided — to the extent that some Netflix staff believe, if granted, it will effectively shelve the project indefinitely.”
Royal observers predict that King Charles will be riled up by the worst of Prince Harry and Markle’s conversations that shed a negative light on the British royals being made public.
Left with no choices, King Charles might make the ultimate revenge move and approach Parliament and strip the pair of their titles.
