Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have identified one of the biggest problems in the British monarchy and have decided to take concrete actions to resolve it.
The Royal Family believes that they “now have a US problem,” according to a senior courtier who spoke to Roya Nikkah at The Sunday Times.
The issue came about because of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who are determined to stain the British institution with their many interviews and projects.
King Charles III is certain that the first step towards a solution is Prince William and Middleton’s trip to the US.
Catherine, Princess of Wales, and William, Prince of Wales, will be in Boston, Massachusetts, on December 2 for the 2022 Earthshot Prize Awards.
With the backing of King Charles, the pair have revealed that they plan to turn the trip into a mini tour.
Middleton and her spouse will spend ten days in the US, and they have come up with an ambitious plan to captivate the media.
A source close to the royal couple stated: “In ten days, a visit to the US by the Prince and Princess of Wales, viewed in royal circles as one of the most important overseas trips for years, aims to get the House of Windsor firmly back on the front foot across the pond.”
The insider shared more details about Middleton and Prince William’s itinerary: “The couple’s engagements will cover sport, green tech, vulnerable young people, climate change, and Kate’s interest in the early years. They will attend the second Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in Boston, which will be shown on December 4 on the American public broadcaster PBS, Multichoice in Africa, and the BBC.”
Prince William and Kate Middleton have no plans to meet with Prince Harry and Markle, who will be on the East Coast around the same time to receive a prestigious award.
The working royals view the famous pair as a distraction. The source went on to explain: “When it comes to the elephant in the room — or on the West Coast — royal sources insist the couple “won’t be distracted by what others are doing or other activities that are coming up.”
Despite their best efforts, Prince William and his spouse will have a tough time competing with the America-based couple who has a long list of captivating and somewhat controversial projects lined up.
Markle and Prince Harry will air their Netflix series and deliver a speech on racism in early December.
