Meghan Markle, Unlike Kate Middleton, Thinks It Is Priceless Not To Ask King Charles’s Permission

Prince William Kate Middleton Meghan Markle Harry Reunion

This month, the ladies of the Royal Family, including Camilla, Queen Consort, and Kate Middleton, gave the world a glimpse of the multi-billion dollar jewelry and tiaras they have access to.

Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth II, King Charles III has opened the most significant collections of priceless gold and diamonds to working ladies of the British monarchy.

Kate Middleton and the Queen Consort are taking full advantage. And according to a royal expert, it must pinch Meghan Markle to see all she walked out on when she and Prince Harry stepped down from their royal duties.

At Remembrance Sunday, Kate Middleton stood out by wearing Bahrain pearl and diamond drop earrings gifted to her by the late Queen Elizabeth II. Camilla, Queen Consort, also wore multiple pieces from the royal collection.

For King Charles’s first state banquet at Buckingham Palace, the Princess of Wales donned Queen Mary‘s Lover’s Knot tiara that Princess Diana loved.

Prince William’s wife completed her regal look with earrings that previously belonged to Princess Diana and an elegant bracelet from Queen Elizabeth’s jewelry box.

As for the Queen Consort, she opted for a sparkling Belgian Sapphire Tiara. Royal commentator Daniela Elser wrote that Middleton was sending a message to her sister-in-law — “look at what you are missing.”

According to the author, if Markle stayed calm, fulfilled her duties, and remained non-opinionated, the treasure chest of wonderful jewelry would have been hers.

She wrote: “Maybe, if Meghan and Harry had stayed put in the UK, this jewelry situation might have changed, and the Duchess of Sussex might have ended up, like Kate, Camilla, and Sophie, Countess of Wessex, regularly adding sparkle to her outfit du jour with a few baubles from the official horde. (Lord only knows how many diamonds, rubies, emeralds, and sapphires they really have squirreled away in the Palace.)…But Meghan never quite made it into the royal bling ring.”

She went on to compare Middleton to Markle by saying: “It is not just a question of time, what with Kate having clocked up 11 years of HRH-dom in contrast to Meghan’s 20 months on the palace clock before she and Harry made for sunnier climes, in every sense, in January 2020.”

In her piece, the expert pointed to something interesting — Meghan Markle is busy building an empire with Spotify, Netflix, and other business ventures.

The renegade couple is earning millions, and therefore, Markle can buy her diamonds and does not need to ask permission from the King to sparkle — and that is priceless.

She wrote: “Instead, to paraphrase the eternal words of Destiny’s Child, “she buys her own diamonds, and she buys her own rings.” And those? She doesn’t need anyone’s permission to wear.”

Markle views her freedom and the ability to use her voice as more valuable than any tiara.
