King Charles Confident That Prince William And Kate Middleton Can Draw Favorable Contrast To The Sussexes

King Charles Prince Harry Meghan Markle Decision

Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, are getting ready to embark on a crucial US trip. The British monarchy is betting a lot on this first visit to America since “Megxit.”

For the royal couple, the main event will be on December 2, and the Earthshot Prize in Boston. This initiative is a way to push those who are making real progress in the fight against climate change.

King Charles III will be watching closely how things will play out. The Prince and Princess of Wales always deliver, but this is the biggest stage.

The trip comes at a moment when the monarchy needs to draw a contrast with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The Waleses are the Royal Family’s best assets to accomplish the task.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are getting ready for a few weeks of increased media presence. The power couple has to promote their Netflix documentary that will premiere on December 8.

Prince Harry will release his tell-all memoir Spare on January 10. Royal observers do not expect the book to be very kind to the new Monarch.

The renegade royals are going to be a challenge to the careful and neat image that the King is trying to build.

On December 6, the Sussexes will receive the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award for their fight in tackling so-called structural racism.

That is why the Sovereign is hoping that Prince William and Kate Middleton can show the optimistic side of the Royal Family.

King Charles is thinking about a monarchy that is focused on service and seizing the future. The book and docuseries from the Sussexes will be more about the past.

Royal experts believe that the Waleses can get the job done because they are popular figures globally. Journalist Kinsey Schofield told Express: “American royal watchers are absolutely crazy about the Prince and Princess of Wales.”

Biographer Amanda Foreman says that the two couples are not going after the same kind of public. She wrote in The Sunday Times: “William and Kate are trading in yesterday’s currency. “Leaving aside sheer sartorial glamor, where Kate is unmatched, the Waleses offer the world a fixed basket of virtues: duty, probity, discipline, decency, discretion, loyalty, and commitment.”

She continued: “It is a worthy one, to be sure, and also totally — fatally — in step with the values of the over-40 crowd: Baby Boomers, Generation X, and some millennials. But the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are dealers in today’s currency: self-actualization, self-healing, self-identity, self-care, self-expression, self-confidence, and self-love.”

A Palace insider has reinforced this message and told Page Six that the Waleses “are working on behalf of others – versus being a celebrity. They were always famous, but now they’ve reached a different stage in their public lives – they’re different types of figures.”

An outcome that is still possible, the two couples do fight the PR battle to a draw, and the two sides are happy to keep their supporters.
