Britney Spears accidentally took a break from social media by pressing the wrong button. The diva returned with a head-spinning video of her birthday celebration.
Spears revealed that she does not party like everyone else. The singer donned a red body-hugging catsuit and danced around her decorated living room.
After tossing her hair back and forth and crawling around, Britney Spears decided to eat her birthday cake on the floor.
Taking things to a weirder level, Spears appeared to smash some of the white icings on her face and, later on, her entire body.
The liberated woman also flipped the bird and touched herself seductively as the camera rolled.
The awkward video was accompanied by a lengthy caption that detailed Spears’s feelings for her special day, her plans for 2023, and the mishap that led to her accidentally deactivating her Instagram account.
Explaining why her page was shut down, Britney Spears said: “30 sec to mars !!! Yep it’s my b-day all week, and I know my Instagram has been down a few times, but honestly, I did the last two times myself !!! Oops … I accidentally pressed the wrong button … damn that stupid button 😂🤷🏼♀️😜 !!!”
Spears said she is a work in progress and is learning to be comfortable with herself and the people around her.
The mother of two stated: “And jolly Santa is on his way y’all!!! My goal this year is to learn to be as COMFORTABLE with people as they are with me !!!!!”
As for next year, Spears wants to have more fun, crash, or be invited to a wedding where she can surprise the bride and groom by performing a few songs.
The artist added: “I want to go to a wedding this year, grab the mic, sing a song or two, and fall eight times !!! It’s my first year in 15 years being treated as an equal, and good God, I didn’t know about this NO RULE THING !!! Pssst, this video is so blurry, sorry 🤷🏼♀️ !!! Is it a little awkward or weird to watch ??? DUH 🙄 that’s the whole point💄💄💄 !!!”
Spears broke her silence days after her husband, Sam Asghari, explained to her fans that she was staying away from social media because she felt that it was creating a traumatizing experience.
The actor wrote: “Social media can be traumatizing. Sometimes it’s good to take a break. She has her voice and is a free woman. I have respect for her privacy, and I protect it at all times. Thank you to all of her protective fans.”
Before taking a break from Instagram, Spears had her supporters deeply worried about the updates she was posting.
Spears, who has been feuding with her entire family, shared loving messages for her estranged sister and teenage sons.
