Eddie Cibrian has revealed that he is keeping his chin up and focusing on what truly matters, even though his name is being dragged through the mud because of his wife, Brandi Glanville.
The actor has issued a statement forcefully denying the latest accusations by the reality TV star.
Glanville did a jaw-dropping interview with Page Six, revealing that Cibrian cheated on her with Piper Perabo during their complicated marriage.
Cibrian slammed the allegations in a statement that revealed that he is saddened by the odd situation.
He confirmed that he was confronted by the mother of his children more than 19 years ago about the cheating scandal, and he slammed it back then, and he is now to be put in a position to do it again.
Cibrian said in the statement: “I’m sad I have to address this. I really believed that we had come a long way, but this was untrue 19 years ago, and it’s untrue now. Just because someone thinks something might be true does not make it true, and this is all so unnecessary.”
He then revealed: “Fun times at the Christmas table await.”
In an interview with Page Six, Glanville decided to revisit her past by dropping the bombshell that her then-husband was unfaithful with another actress before the LeAnn Rimes cheating drama.
The podcast host claimed that Cibrian slept with Perabo while working on the 2005 film The Cave.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said: “They did a movie together, and [my son] Mason was 1 year old. And I went to the set, and it was in another country — Romania, I think. And [Piper] was a horrible c–t to me. She was flirting with Eddie in front of me. I was like, ‘Am I here? Am I the only person [seeing this]? Like, ‘What is happening?'”
Glanville claimed that other crew members told her “that Piper and Eddie were f–king,” and she confronted him, and he denied the cheating, so she marched on with the romance.
She explained: “And I was like, ‘Alright.’ I was in love. Like, I was blindly in love with the man.”
The former couple tied the knot in 2001 and separated in 2009 after the confirmation of an affair between Cibrian and LeAnn Rimes. Cibrian and Rimes wed in 2011.
The two women spent years feuding but have put their differences aside for the sake of the children.
Cibrian and Glanville share sons Mason, 19, and Jake, 15.
