King Charles III has decided to be a tender father to Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, but his kind gesture might blow up in his face in a very public manner.
Prince Harry and his spouse have clarified their intention through their successful docuseries.
Harry & Meghan is Netflix’s biggest documentary debut of all-time. It was watched for 97.7 million hours between December 12 and December 18.
The power couple used the series to settle scores with Prince William and King Charles.
The pair also let the Royal Family know that they have reached the point where they are ready to sever ties.
In six episodes, the former actress and the soldier prince painted a dreadful photo of Prince William as a liar and manipulator who screamed at him.
As for King Charles, the power couple explained that he abandoned them during their times of need. Prince Harry also claimed that King Charles lied to protect Prince William.
He blamed the monarchy for systemic racism and gaslighting. Royal author Christopher Andersen explained: “I think any attack on William is going to be seen because William is the heir, as an attack on the Monarchy, an attack on Charles. And Charles is the person who’s got to keep this whole thing together. If this dog and pony show known as the Monarchy is going to continue to thrive, it’s only going to be because of Charles’ ability to navigate all of it. If he can’t, I think they’re in real trouble, and it’s very, very damaging to the reputation of the Monarchy.”
Despite the shame and embarrassment that Prince Harry and Markle have brought, King Charles has decided not to retaliate.
He prefers to handle things in-house with a soft touch of love and compassion. King Charles has decided to go against Prince William’s wishes and will extend an invitation to Prince Harry and Markle to attend his coronation ceremony.
However, the Monarch should not be surprised if Prince Harry and Markle decided to publicly humiliate him by declining the invitation.
The expert shared: “I thought the whole thing was fascinating. We’re looking at the coronation coming up – I would’ve said I got the impression they would be invited to the coronation, and they would attend.”
Andersen went on to reveal that Prince Harry and Markle might use this huge moment to sever ties with the royals.
He stated: “Now I’m beginning to wonder whether they would even go if they were invited. They’re going a long way to really severing all ties with the royals. “You wouldn’t blame the Royal Family, especially the new King, to be furious at the kind of disruption this is all causing.”
