It was not long ago that photos surfaced confirming that Leonardo DiCaprio was officially dating Gigi Hadid.
However, it seems that the relationship was short-lived. This week, DiCaprio was spotted getting cozy with Victoria Lamas, 23.
The photos of the new couple did make their way to Hadid, who had a brutal reaction. A source close to the model spoke to Page Six and revealed that she does not care about what is going on in DiCaprio’s busy and complex life.
The person familiar with the situation told the publication that Hadid is focused on her 2-year-old, Khai, whom she shares with her ex, pop star Zayn Malik.
The source explained that DiCaprio and Hadid, who started dating around September, enjoyed each other’s company, but it was never that serious.
The insider claimed: “They like each other very much, but neither one wants anything serious right now.”
According to the family friend, Gigi Hadid’s head and heart are on her daughter’s well-being and happiness. The source told the media outlet: “Gigi’s priority is her daughter.”
Additionally, Gigi Hadid does not have the time or the energy to keep up with Leonardo DiCaprio’s wild, busy, and 90’s bachelor-inspired travel schedule and lifestyle.
DiCaprio is a popular figure at most big yacht parties and epic bashes on multiple continents and the Caribbean.
He was recently seen enjoying himself with stunning young women in Los Angeles, New York, Saint Tropez, and Saint Barts.
The person explained that is not the kind of life that Hadid wants and added: “Gigi doesn’t have the energy to run after DiCaprio. His routine is too much for her.”
She is also doing her best to go from model to businesswoman. Hadid recently traveled to Aspen, Colorado, to promote her clothing brand, Guest in Residence.
The same day, DiCaprio was photographed leaving Bird Streets Club in Hollywood with Victoria Lamas.
