The wait is finally over, and Kylie Jenner has unveiled the first photos of her baby boy and his new name.
Jenner announced that she and her ex-boyfriend, Travis Scott, had welcomed a son with the moniker Aire Webster.
Baby Aire will be one year old next month. The former power couple also shares a daughter, Stormi Webster, who will celebrate her 5th birthday next month.
The almost-billionaire reality TV star also took time from her busy schedule to reveal the proper pronunciation of her son’s unique name.
When a fan account asked: “Do you think it’s pronounced air or airey?” The Kylie Cosmetics founder stepped into the comment section to say: “AIR” with a red heart emoji.
The Kardashians star, who previously posted only photos of Aire’s tiny feet, dropped a carousel of pictures where they are bonding.
In another, the mother of two is holding and cuddling her baby boy, who is giggling. Jenner also posed for a sweet mirror selfie with her son, who seemed to be captivated by the phone.
In two other photos, baby Aire is solo, looking cute while wearing a long-sleeved shirt with colorful cars printed on it.
Sources close to Jenner confirmed that Aire is Hebrew and means “lion of God.” Unfortunately, the name has a very different meaning in Arabic.
A person explained on social media: “Umm, should someone tell Kylie Jenner she renamed her son Aire which is a common Arabic expression for ‘my penis’ or nah?”
Travis Scott and Kylie Jenner went through several names before settling for Aire. When the child was born, the parents went for Wolf.
However, a few months later, Jenner announced that she and her partner felt that the name did not fit the infant.
Taking her Instagram Story, the makeup maven said: “FYI, OUR SON’S NAME ISN’T WOLF ANYMORE. WE JUST REALLY DIDN’T FEEL LIKE IT WAS HIM. JUST WANTED TO SHARE BECAUSE I KEEP SEEING WOLF EVERYWHERE.”
Kylie Jenner’s parent, Caitlyn Jenner, did an interview recently to say that the new name was Knight.
The retired olympian revealed: “Those are her decisions to make. I learned a long time ago don’t put your two cents in, and I go with whatever they come up with. But now she has a Knight, and I like that, with a K, like a knight in shining armor. I like that.”
The former Keeping Up With The Kardashians star added: “I’ve spent 34 years carpooling. I’ve changed 10 million diapers over my lifespan. It’s so great when you have grandchildren because you just pick them up and hand them back. They got a dirty diaper, and it’s yours.”
Jenner and Scott split earlier this year.
