For the very first time, King Charles III has made it clear that he does not truly and sincerely want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle raining on his parade on May 6.
The coronation ceremony scheduled for May is the most significant event in King Charles’s life, and he would prefer that Prince Harry and Markle remain in California.
He has waited more than 70 years to have his moment in the spotlight, and he, along with multiple members of the Royal Family, feels that Prince Harry and Markle are determined to ruin it.
The renegade royal has caused significant damage to the Royal Family’s reputation with the Netflix series and the bestselling book Spare.
Despite it all, King Charles went against Prince William and decided to invite Prince Harry, Markle, and their young children, Archie and Lilibet Diana.
However, King Charles laid out a set of rules that would protect the royals and humiliate Prince Harry and Markle if they attended the public event.
He also made it clear that he would not apologize. Prince Harry revealed that he would only attend the state event if his father and brother granted him a meeting so he could put an end to the toxicity that clouds his family.
A friend of Prince Harry told the Mirror: “Harry has been very clear, and his position hasn’t wavered—he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral. He’s said he wants to reconcile with his family, and it’s their call, but so far, nothing has changed.”
In a matter of hours, close friends of Prince William and King Charles spoke to the Daily Beast to say no such meeting would occur.
A royal source with ties to King Charles told the Daily Beast that he is too busy organizing the massive ceremony that will be attended by many important world leaders and has no time to have a special meeting with his son.
The person in the know went on to add: “Charles adores Harry and wants him to be there. But he has a coronation to organize, and he simply won’t have the time to organize a special meeting with Harry.”
Friends of Prince William revealed that he has no plans to reach out or ever apologize to Prince Harry.
The publication confirmed the following: “There is considered to be zero probability among William and Kate’s friends that William would apologize to Harry. No. What should he apologize for? ”
Prince Harry now has a choice to make.
