After placing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in a problematic situation, King Charles III is moving to phase two of his fiery plan.
In less than two weeks, His Majesty will invite his son, daughter-in-law, and their young children — Archie and Lilibet — to his fancy coronation ceremony.
Prince Harry made it clear that he would attend under one condition — King Charles and Prince William must first apologize to him and Markle privately.
King Charles delivered a passionate and fiery answer by saying that no such thing would happen.
A source close to the Sovereign told the Mail that the relationship between Prince Harry and Markle had hit the level of toxicity.
The person in the know explained that King Charles and Prince William would certainly not reach out to Prince Harry and Markle to say sorry ahead of the coronation ceremony.
Prince William, incandescent with rage, will never apologize because he deems that Prince Harry and Markle have said unforgivable things about Kate Middleton.
A source, who is a close friend of the Royal Family, told the media outlet: “I hear that William has no intention whatsoever of apologizing and remains incandescent, especially around the way his wife, the Princess of Wales, has been treated.”
According to some royal observers, King Charles seems to be daring his youngest son not to come to the event by brutally rejecting his request for an apology.
During multiple interviews, while promoting his bombshell book, Spare, Prince Harry made it abundantly clear that he would not step foot in London without an apology.
Prince Harry has also demanded a meeting before packing his suitcases for the coronation celebrations. Weeks after these sit-downs, Prince Harry is not budging.
Author Tom Bower explained that Prince Harry was “unwavering” and added: “Harry has been very clear, and his position hasn’t wavered – he isn’t going to come if he feels the atmosphere will be as toxic as it was during the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and funeral.”
Omid Scobie, a journalist and author with ties to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, explained that the couple has yet to make up their minds about the trip.
Scobie stated: “The reality, sources tell me, is that no one, no matter how well-sourced, knows their plans right now. The couple has yet to be invited and can’t make a decision, nor any form of itinerary until that happens.”
Prince Harry’s decision/indecision about the coronation has made the event more captivating for the media.
