Kristin Cavallari Reveals Surprising Fact About Her Love Life After Jay Cutler Divorce

Kristin Cavallari Jay Cutler Divorce Dating

Kristin Cavallari is having trouble finding love again after divorcing former husband Jay Cutler in June 2022. The 36-year-old reality TV star and the NFL personality, 39, got married in 2013, and they have three children together.

The businesswoman has a clear idea of what she is looking for in a relationship. However, the dating scene is proving to be quite challenging, even for someone of her status and fame.

On the podcast Broad Ideas with Rachel Bilson, Cavallari gets real and emotional about her situation. She makes some surprising revelations regarding her life as a single mother of three dating in 2023.

She says that many of the men who are interested in her are already married. Nonetheless, they do not hesitate to slide into her DMs to try their luck.

Moreover, when she dates people in their 20s, she realizes they do not have enough things in common with her. This makes it hard for those relationships to progress to the next level.

Cavallari shares: “Clearly, I’m not ready for a relationship because I’m attracting all of these unavailable men. I’ve gotten a lot of 29-year-olds. I’ve dated a lot of kids in their 20s, and I’m like, “This is silly. I need someone who’s established.”

The Very Cavallari star continues: “It’s hard to find people who have the same goals — especially when they’re younger and want to start a family.”

She also talks about the future and if she plans to have more children. She claims: “Unless I met the love of my freaking life and he wanted one and didn’t have any, maybe, but like, I don’t think so. I’m just not in a place for it right now, which is fine.”

The TV personality has had some time to reflect on the things that make a relationship work. She has been clear about why her marriage to Cutler failed.

Last year, she said on the Call Her Daddy podcast: “Basically, I called off the engagement [for] the same reason I got a divorce, and so I guess if there’s any takeaway from that is you can’t ignore red flags.”

She added at the time: “People don’t change, and you’ve got to trust your gut. I was 23 when I met Jay; I was a baby, and at that time in my life, getting married and having kids was the next natural step. I had gotten everything out of my system, and I don’t regret anything at all, and I am thankful for our time together.”

Some fans say that she should change her approach to dating.
