Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, are proving that hard work does pay — and sometimes it pays so well it is possible to own a piece of heaven on earth.

Days after it was confirmed that the power couple was mercilessly and publicly evicted from Frogmore Cottage, their forever home, by King Charles III, they apparently made their most significant move yet.

According to surfaced reports, Prince Harry and Markle are eying what King Charles III, Prince William, and other royals could only dream of — a quiet and luxurious private island.

While the Royal Family has a $28 billion fortune or $42 billion in assets, King Charles would be eaten alive by British citizens if he dared to use taxpayers’ money to purchase an island or any property.

It would be viewed as wasteful spending by the royals because their real estate portfolio is valued at $9.5 billion, and it includes Kensington Palace, Windsor Castle, the Tower of London, and Buckingham Palace.

However, Markle and her husband work for their income and can, therefore, spend it however they desire. The runaway royals have amassed a fortune via their lucrative deals with Netflix, Spotify, and Penguin Random House and paid speeches.

A source told Heat that Prince Harry, Markle, and their young children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, might be relocating to another country now that England is no longer an option.

The family looked at some great options, including Canada and South Africa, where they know they will be welcomed.

The friend to the publication: “The situation is rapidly becoming uncomfortable to the point of untenable. There are talks of keeping a base in LA and heading somewhere new like Canada, South Africa, or one of the other countries where they have more popularity and public sympathy.”

However, Prince Harry is thinking outside the box and has been pushing Markle to accept the idea of moving to a private island where they will have all the space and freedom in the world.

The insider added: “There’s money to be made abroad, and it fits their vision of global success. Harry loved the idea of living in a natural and eco-friendly environment- he’s pushing hard to go down the private island route.”

A large private island costs between $10 — $12 million — which implies that Prince Harry and Markle can undoubtedly afford one if they want to.

Many royal observers say that King Charles and other royals must have been blown away by the couple’s grandiose relocation plan.
