The plans for the coronation ceremony of King Charles III are in full motion.
The invitations have been sent out, the special robes and tiaras are being designed, and Camilla, Queen Consort, is putting the finishing touches to ensure that her entire family will be front and center.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton is working on being discreet and not overshadowing King Charles on the biggest day of his life.
It is well documented via interviews, sources, and Prince Harry‘s book Spare that His Majesty is jealous of some of the royal women who take away the spotlight from him with their fashion.
Aware of this fact, Catherine, Princess of Wales, has decided to make a massive sacrifice in the wardrobe department.
According to a new report, Prince William‘s wife will tone it down with her choice of dress, tiara, and pieces of jewelry for the grandiose event.
Royal expert Miranda Holder spoke to Newsweek and revealed: “We must remember that the coronation, despite its paired down new incarnation, is steeped in pageantry and tradition. Kate must be careful not to pull focus from the King with her outfit, which is why it won’t be too out there. Kate has embraced a fashion formula for previous important state events, typically wearing a coat dress ensemble from her favorite designer Alexander McQueen.”
In her new book, The New Royals: Queen Elizabeth’s Legacy and the Future of the Crown, royal expert Katie Nicholl revealed that King Charles is jealous of Kate Middleton stealing the light from him via the press.
Nicholl revealed: “Her star immediately eclipsed her husband’s, causing early fractures in their relationship. The diligent, sensitive, and status-conscious Charles found it hard to understand. He could not see that in the new media age, being a royal-born prince and future King was a lesser currency than his wife’s megawatt beauty and disposition.”
She added: “In the past, father and son hadn’t always seen eye to eye. There was a well-documented clash of opinions in 2013 over the palace’s priceless collection of ivory, for one. And Charles was sometimes irritated that Kate’s frocks got more media attention than his good works.”
Prince Harry confirmed in his best-selling memoir Spare that King Charles was envious of Diana, Princess of Wales‘s grace and elegance that captivated the worldwide media and was determined not to let that happen with Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle.
Prince Harry wrote: “My father experienced that before (with Diana), and he had no interest in letting it happen to him again.”
Prince Harry explained that King Charles and Camilla, Queen Consort are jealous of Middleton and Prince William’s popularity.
He revealed in the tell-all book: “Willy did everything he [Charles] wanted, and sometimes he didn’t want him to do much because my dad and Camilla didn’t like Willy and Kate getting too much publicity.”
The new Sovereign wants to be front and center at all time.
