Rose Hanbury Finally Addresses These Wild Rumors About Prince William And Kate Middleton

Kate Middleton Prince William Meghan Markle Interview

For years Prince William and his wife, Kate Middleton, have faced the embarrassing rumor that their marriage was on the rocks because of a spicy affair.

Very quickly, Rose Hanbury, the wife of David Cholmondeley, 7th Marquess of Cholmondeley, was named as the other woman.

Multiple reports surfaced in The Daily Mail and other British media outlets stating that the heir to the throne and Rose Hanbury were sleeping together.

It was claimed that the extramarital romance lasted several years, and Prince William and his mistress allegedly had a daughter named Lady Iris Marina Aline Cholmondeley.

Kate Middleton was made aware of it after steamy stories about Rose Hanbury, the Marchioness of Cholmondeley, and Prince William leaked to the press.

According to the sources who spoke to the press then, it was believed that Kate Middleton was distraught by the cheating scandal and demanded that her spouse cut all ties with the former fashion model.

However, this week, Rose Hanbury has decided to share her thoughts on the wild rumors for the first time via a close friend.

A friend of the Cholmondeley family told The Daily Beast that: “There has never been any enmity between Kate and Rose. The rumors were all a load of rubbish. The family is ancient allies of the Crown, and they will be there.”

The pal confirmed that the Cholmondeley family had been invited to King Charles III‘s coronation ceremony, and they plan to attend.

King Charles has decided that Rose Hanbury’s son, Oliver, will be one of his pages at the crowning ceremony.

Ensuring that the Cholmondeley is further tied up to the Royal Family, His Majesty appointed David Cholmondeley, Earl of Rocksavage, as his Lord-in-Waiting.

The media outlet reports: “David was named Lord-in-Waiting by the king, meaning he will be present at all important state and royal occasions and can even stand in for the king at diplomatic events.”

Rose Hanbury will be in Kate Middleton’s life for a very long time because David Cholmondeley will play the same role for the future King William when he takes over the monarchy.

The Daily Beast explained: “He is only 62 and is likely to still be alive when Charles dies, and the role of Lord Great Chamberlain reverts to his family. He is, therefore, likely to be William’s Lord Great Chamberlain when William accedes to the throne.”

Rumors of Prince William being unfaithful to the Princess of Wales with Rose Hanbury started swirling in 2014, but according to The Daily Beast, “the rumor exploded into the open when Giles Coren, a columnist for the London Times, responding to one of the Rose/Kate “feud” pieces, tweeted, “Yes, it is an affair. I haven’t read the piece, but I know about the affair. Everyone knows about the affair, darling.”

The website added: “The showbiz newsletter Popb*tch then carried an item saying: “It can sometimes feel as if you need a Ph.D. in cryptography to make sense of tabloid reports about the Royals. If you’ve been following the latest Kate Middleton hoo-hah but have been at a loss to understand what a ‘rural rivalry’ is, it’s Fleet Street’s way of hinting at the long-standing society rumor that Prince William has been caught” having an affair.”

Here is the timeline of Rose Hanbury and David Cholmondeley’s romance: “They announced their engagement on June 23, 2009, married the next day, and their twin boys were born on Oct. 12, the same year.”

The pair also shares Lady Iris Marina Aline Cholmondeley, born in 2016.
