All eyes will be on King Charles III, who will have his fancy coronation ceremony on May 6 — the same day his youngest grandson, Archie, will celebrate his 4th birthday.
Prince Harry will attend the coronation alone. Meghan Markle has decided to stay in California to ensure Archie has a special birthday with his classmates, his sister, Lilibet, and other family members.
When Page Six broke the news that Markle was doing her best to ensure her son had the birthday celebration he deserved, the media crucified her.
Prince Harry has decided to fly home as soon as the crowning is over to be at his son’s party. The press also slammed Prince Harry for prioritizing his son.
However, Kate Middleton has decided to rub Markle in Prince Harry’s face with her latest move.
Sources close to the future Queen of England say that she will be doing precisely what Markle and Prince Harry are doing to put her daughter, Princess Charlotte of Wales, first.
The only difference is that Middleton is applauded for being the Mother of the Year, and Markle is called rude for snubbing the royals.
Prince William and Middleton have already made it known that they will skip some of the events surrounding King Charles’s coronation to give Princess Charlotte the birthday she deserves.
On May 2, the little girl will turn eight, and her parents are putting their feet down over the “coronation hype” to focus on her special day and making the royals in Montecito feel bad while at it.
One insider has told OK!: “William and Kate are very aware that it’s Princess Charlotte’s birthday on May 2 and don’t want it to get buried in coronation hype. They have ensured that Charlotte’s birthday will be celebrated properly during [the] coronation week.”
The insider went on to give more details about the royal surprise birthday party by saying: “Charlotte will be at school at Lambrook on that Tuesday, so the plan is to collect her at the usual time and drive back to Windsor for a small party with her friends at Adelaide Cottage. It might even be a surprise party because the staff has been told to keep it quiet.”
The media outlet notes that Prince Louis of Wales‘s birthday also falls around the coronation celebrations, and he will have his own royal festivities to mark the big day.
The royal source shared: “Prince Louis has his birthday on April 23, but it doesn’t conflict with any coronation events, so it will be celebrated as usual. He’ll be turning five this year.”
Some royal watchers say as the next Queen, Middleton is gloating over the Sussexes with this move to bail on some of the events around the coronation.
