Meghan Markle Pulls A Masterstroke After King Charles’s Drama And Kate Middleton’s Snub

Prince Harry Meghan Markle Shocked By Book

Meghan Markle is not letting the coronation drama and Kate Middleton‘s photo snub dim the light on her mood.

Monday night, Markle and her husband, Prince Harry, made a surprise appearance at one of the biggest basketball games of the season.

The Montecito royals were in L.A to watch the Los Angeles Lakers beat the Memphis Grizzlies at the Crypto.com Arena.

Markle looked stunning in a light pink suit that featured short pants. The former actress opted for nude-colored heels and had her long hair cascading on her shoulders.

Prince Harry kept his look casual with a simple white T-shirt, jeans, and a jacket. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry caught the attention of the 20,000 fans present when they appeared on the jumbotron at the stadium in downtown L.A. during the famous kiss cam.

The crowd, which included Kim Kardashian and her son, Saint West, clapped and cheered the power couple, hoping that they would kiss, but Prince Harry was unable to convince his wife.

After refusing to give Prince Harry a smooch, Markle put on a show by giggling nonstop and giving lots of affection to the Duke of Sussex.

The appearance comes after a drama-filled week where Markle had the content of private letters she wrote to King Charles III about a member of the Royal Family who made a racist comment about her son, Archie, leaked in the media.

Markle was forced to issue a statement denying that she leaked the correspondence. The activist also grabbed headlines after Kate Middleton took a swipe at her by releasing a picture of Queen Elizabeth II with almost all her great-grandchildren except Archie and Lilibet.

Markle and Prince Harry’s outing, according to royal watchers, is a signal that they plan to remain relevant and grab the spotlight to push their brands.

Markle is also proving to the British royal family that she does not need the flashing lights of King Charles’s coronation to be a star.

Royal expert Afua Hagan spoke to Express and explained that it was a masterstroke that the Duchess of Sussex pulled when she decided not to attend the coronation.

Hagan stated: “Meghan’s decision not to attend the Coronation was a masterstroke. She has taken away the ability for people to criticize what she’s wearing, what she’s doing, or not getting in a car the right way. People won’t be able to mock her. That is part of the reason she didn’t want to give them the sideshow. She didn’t want to let them tear strips off her. I think that played a huge part in her decision.”

The power couple can still grab headlines.
