Royal expert Alexander Larman told The Royal Beat that King Charles’s wife is one step ahead of Prince Harry by making the wise and conscious decision to focus on the monarchy and the coronation.
Larman went on to say that while Her Majesty is frustrated by her stepson’s actions, she showed restraint and class by avoiding reaching out and responding.
The commentator applauded the Queen for protecting what truly matters — her image in the press.
The expert claimed: “You can see that [Camilla] has not reached out to Harry the way he needed to be reached out to, which has led to a lifelong resentment which, of course, manifested itself in Spare. Camilla is very savvy and has a team around her that knows what they are doing. So yes, there is a very carefully curated image presented to the world.”
In Spare, Prince Harry claimed that Queen Camilla left Prince William volcanically angry after she planted mortifying stories about him in the media.
Prince Harry wrote: “Pa and Camilla’s people had planted a story or stories about him, Kate, and the kids, and he wasn’t going to take it anymore. Give Pa and Camilla an inch, he said; they take a mile.”
In an interview with 60 Minutes, Prince Harry had these harsh words for the Queen: “There was an open willingness on both sides to trade information. And with a family built on hierarchy, and with her on the way to being Queen Consort, there were going to be people or bodies left in the street.”
