In less than 24 hours, King Charles III will have his lavish coronation ceremony that will cost the British people almost half a billion dollars.
After months of back and forth between London and Montecito, Prince Harry decided to attend the crowning.
As for Meghan Markle, she concluded her best option was to remain in California with her two young children — Archie and Lilibet.
The former actress will prepare a birthday party for Archie, who will celebrate his birthday on coronation day. Many royal insiders and members of the Royal Family have been actively briefing the media about the fact that Prince William will snub and punish Prince Harry for his revelations.
Close friends have also revealed that Queen Camilla is still furious that Prince Harry called her “evil,” the “other woman,” and “dangerous.”
Royal aides have been talking to the media about Prince Harry’s travel plans. The Duke of Sussex seems uncertain about the trip to the UK and has therefore shared no details about his voyage, no dates, no itinerary, nothing.
Additionally, he has stopped answering the emails that King Charles’s staff members have sent to him in the past weeks. Members of the Royal Family have all but certainly made it clear that they did not want Prince Harry anywhere near the fancy and expensive event by leaking an embarrassing story about Meghan Markle one day before the coronation.
Many are questioning the convenient timing of a story that paints Meghan Markle as evil by the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The Spectator‘s Kara Kennedy revealed that Her Majesty held a dinner during her last vacation in Scotland in August of 2022.
The Queen had the Royal Family and some close friends at Balmoral, and while chatting, she confessed that she saw
“saw through Meghan Markle” and branded her as “evil.”
While the guests sipped on drinks at the reception, they were shocked as the 96-year-old made candid and harsh remarks about Markle’s interview with Oprah Winfrey.
During the sit-down, Markle confirmed what Prince Harry had already revealed – someone in the Royal Family made racist comments about her unborn son.
Kennedy said the source close to the family claimed “everybody’s eyebrows hit the ceiling” when the Queen made the frank remarks about Markle.
They said: “It was out of character for the Queen to use such a word as ‘evil’ to describe Meghan, but she saw straight through her. It was a startling sentence to hear from the most forgiving woman on earth. At the drinks before the dinner, a small group was talking to the monarch, and she explained that Harry meeting Meghan had become a complete catastrophe and described her as evil.”
The source added: “By this point, we all knew the Queen’s health was in decline, and she had months left. She seemed regretful about how things had panned out.”
Royal observers believe that the humiliating story about Markle was leaked to force Prince Harry to skip the coronation.
