Kim Zolciak and her husband, Kroy Biermann, are going their separate ways. The reality TV star filed for divorce after 11 years of marriage.
The number 11 is a blessing and a curse for the former couple. Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann wed on 11. 11, 2011. They share four children, Kroy Jagger, 11; Kash, 10; and 9-year-old twins Kane and Kaia.
From a previous relationship, Zolciak has two daughters, Brielle, 26, and Ariana Biermann, 21.
The former athlete adopted the sisters. In court documents obtained by TMZ, it was confirmed that Zolciak was the one who filed for divorce.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared the date of 4.30,2023 as the date of separation. The entertainment website did not reveal the reason for the abrupt split.
The divorce announcement comes just days after it was claimed that the businesswoman and the former NFL star were dealing with financial problems.
TMZ revealed that the reality stars owe the IRS a whopping $1.1 million for unpaid taxes. The state of Georgia is demanding another $15,000 for unpaid taxes.
Zolciak and Biermann’s famous mansion entered foreclosure in early 2023 because they defaulted on a $1.65 million loan. It was not long ago that the couple was swooning over each other on social media as they celebrated their love.
Zolciak gave fans some unsolicited advice on how to have a successful marriage. She said that the secret to keeping the fire in a romance is in the bedroom.
The singer made this cheeky confession: “If you’re asking for a secret, lots of sex. I think one of the biggest secrets is also communication. Choosing to love that person day in and day out, I think it’s a choice and a lot of times, people are just so quick to throw in the towel.”
In a past interview, Biermann spoke about his relationship and explained that his commitment to his wife and their sacred wedding vows kept the marriage strong.
He stated: “Whether you’re married on camera or a regular person married, I don’t think there’s any difference. And I think when things get tough, people don’t want to stay true to their vows and stay true to their partner. They’d rather just say screw it and try it on the next one, but you got to hold true to your promises that you gave that person when you were standing in front of your friends and family.”
Weeks before divorcing Kroy Biermann, Kim Zolciak made the stunning revelation that he spent almost four hours speaking with a psychic.
An hour with medium Natalie Tomlinson costs $685. It is not known if the psychic foretold the breakup.
