Prince Harry opted to put on a brave face and attend the coronation of his father, King Charles III.
Many royal watchers were betting that Prince Harry would pull a last-minute stunt and skip the event. The British prince was given multiple reasons to stay in California — his wife, Meghan Markle, had declined King Charles’s invitation, and his darling son, Archie, was celebrating his fourth birthday on coronation day.
However, he decided to put on a stylish Dior suit and marched at Westminster Abbey like he had won the war. Senior Royal Family members, minus Princess Anne, stayed clear of Prince Harry.
Prince William had zero interaction with his brother. The heir to the throne refused to even look at the spare.
Kate Middleton followed in her husband’s footsteps and stayed as far away as possible from her brother-in-law.
Prince Harry was ignored and punished by Prince William and Kate Middleton for a long list of reasons.
And the future King and Queen of England plan to continue to do so until Prince Harry and Markle acknowledge that they have caused them great pain and apologize for their betrayal.
Royal expert Hillary Fordwich spoke to Express and revealed that Prince William, and Kate, Princess of Wales, want Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to “acknowledge” the “hurt they have caused.”
The royal commentator has this to say about the bold demand: “Meghan Markle’s absence at the coronation was thought by many to perhaps have helped with some sort of reconciliation, mainly since the Prince and Princess of Wales are the ones actually awaiting some acknowledgment regarding the hurt Harry caused.”
She added that she does not expect Middleton and Prince William to ever apologize to Prince Harry and Markle for the following reason: “While King Charles regrets the times he wasn’t with his son growing up and still wants to forgive his ‘darling boy,’ it’s not quite so on in the Wales camp.”
In his book Spare, Prince Harry revealed that Prince William physically and emotionally assaulted him. He painted Middleton as cold and heartless.
He claimed the royals leaked humiliating stories about him and Markle and demanded that they apologize.
Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, said in an interview: “You know what you did, and I now know why you did it. And you’ve been caught out, so just come clean. It was all so avoidable. But they just couldn’t help themselves.”
Sources close to Prince William say that he is putting his foot down and that he is owed an apology, not the other way around.
Prince William has made it clear that his relationship with his brother is over.
