After enjoying his lavish coronation moment, King Charles III is back to taking care of the monarchy’s business.
It was believed that one item that would pop up on His Majesty‘s agenda would be Prince Harry and Meghan Markle‘s titles.
Since the pair announced that they were stepping down from their royal duties and moving to California, there has been an intense debate on what should be done with their titles.
The conversation over the royal honor turned heated when Markle and Prince Harry used interviews, a Netflix series, and a bombshell memoir to cause irreparable damage to the royals and the British monarchy.
Prince Harry lashed out at King Charles for abandoning him and not being present for Meghan Markle as she dealt with mental health issues after joining the Royal Family.
The Duke of Sussex painted Queen Camilla as an evil woman and wicked stepmother who leaked humiliating stories about the Royal Family to repair her mistress image.
Prince William was not spared. According to Prince Harry, the heir to the throne physically and verbally assaulted him multiple times.
Kate Middleton‘s perfect reputation and image also took direct hits from Prince Harry’s brutal revelations.
Many royal watchers screamed loud and clear to demand that they be stripped of their titles. A royal expert believes that King Charles will shock the British people with his decision about Prince Harry and Markle’s titles.
Now that the coronation is over, King Charles was able to meet and talk with Prince Harry — he will not remove the titles.
King Charles is aware that many are eager for him to punish Prince Harry and Markle — but he will do no such thing.
His Majesty will take back a precious gift given by the late Queen Elizabeth II to her grandson.
Information from Grant Harrold, an ex-royal butler, had this to say about the matter: “King Charles will not strip royal titles away from Prince Harry as it would go against the gifts and wishes of the late Queen Elizabeth II.”
He went on to give the following information about the titles: “Kings and Queens would historically strip royal titles for treason to the crown. I think Charles is damned if he does and damned if he doesn’t when it comes to Harry. I think it’s best to just let sleeping dogs lie. At the moment, I think there’s not a real justified reason for him to strip Harry’s Duke of Sussex title.”
He noted that King Charles might take the following decision instead: “What he can strip quite easily is Harry’s [His Royal Highness], which was originally given to the children and grandchildren of the monarch. It would be quite unusual because he’s still the son of the King, but it is possible.”
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are working to become global brands.
