King Charles’s Former Senior Advisor Leaks Interesting Information About His Relationship With Prince Harry

Meghan Markle Prince Harry William Kate Middleton Birthday Celebration

Prince Harry made a brief appearance at King Charles III‘s coronation on May 6. Prince Harry, Duke of Sussex, attended the event without Meghan Markle by his side.

Friends of Markle spoke to the media to say that she opted to remain in California to celebrate Archie‘s 4th birthday.

The British military officer did not take part in any of the post-coronation events because he rushed back to California to be with his family.

However, he was able to attend a private dinner the night before the coronation. It has been confirmed that he was able to have a secret chat with King Charles.

A friend and former staff member of the Royal Family spoke to PEOPLE to say that Prince Harry’s trip was not in vain.

While it might not look so, Prince Harry has achieved the goal of making His Majesty happy. That brief moment of joy and pride between Prince Harry and his father might be enough for the pair to reset their relationship.

Colleen Harris, a former press secretary to the King, Prince Harry, and Prince William, did an interview for PEOPLE cover story and explained that His Majesty was thrilled to see Prince Harry.

The King‘s ex-senior advisor also explained that Prince Harry made the right decision. Otherwise, it would have been the biggest regret of his life.

Harris went on to say: “I am delighted that Prince Harry was there. He would have personally regretted it if he wasn’t there to support his father. Speaking as a mother, [I believe] it was the right thing . . . and the King [was] delighted.”

A member of the Royal Family also talked to the media outlet to say the following about Prince Harry’s decision to attend the historic event: “He will look back on it and think it is better to come and play his part and say, ‘I saw my father crowned.’ And tell his children about it.”

Since “Megxit,” the relationship between His Majesty and his youngest son has taken several blows because of the bitter and incendiary revelations.

King Charles has declined to respond publicly or retaliate. According to royal expert Angela Levin, there is a reason why King Charles has never been able to go after Prince Harry.

Levin told Us Weekly: “King Charles is a monarch, but he’s also a father. He loves Harry. He might not like what he’s doing, but he loves him, and there’s a weakness there for him. He doesn’t want to lose him as a son.”

Prince Harry and Markle’s only punishment has been the eviction from Frogmore Cottage. King Charles has declined to respond publicly or retaliate.
