Lauren Boebert wants to divorce Jayson Boebert, her husband of 20 years, as they await the arrival of their first grandchild.

The Daily Beast has obtained legal documents confirming that the fiery and sometimes controversial MAGA lawmaker filed for divorce on April 25.
Jayson Boebert was blindsided by the divorce papers being served to him. In an affidavit of service obtained by The Daily Beast, Jayson Boebert was furious when the process server attempted to give him the court documents.
Upset by his soon-to-be wife’s decision, the man screamed and insulted the server with a long list of profanity. He threatened to call the police and released his hungry dogs after the person tried to hand him the papers.
Things went from bad to worse when Jayson Boebert, who was drinking a “tall glass of beer,” started to clean his gun.
The affidavit said in part: “Once he learned that he was being served with Dissolution of Marriage papers, he was extremely angry. I tried to hand him the documents, but [he] did not take them. He started yelling and using profanities and told me that I was trespassing and that he was calling the Sheriff’s Office. I told him I was leaving the documents on the chair outside of the door; he closed the door and then let the dogs out.”
Jayson Boebert told The Daily Beast that he was upset because he loves his wife and would prefer to remain married. However, he denied the reports of being drunk, lashing out, and pulling a weapon to scare to process severely.
He stated: “I did not know what I was being served for or if it was some crazy left-wing person coming to my house again. I was not drinking, and I was not cleaning any gun. The divorce is sad; I did not expect this; I love her with every bit of my heart, she has been my soul mate, and she is the mother of my Children. We have been through a lot together, and I just want her to be happy. So it’s whatever she wants.”
Lauren Boebert, a religious woman, who met her husband at 16 and became pregnant with their first child at 18, issued the following statement on the termination of her marriage: “It is with a heavy weight on my heart that I have filed for divorce from my husband. I am grateful for our years of marriage together and for our beautiful children, all of whom deserve privacy and love as we work through this process. I’ve always been faithful in my marriage, and I believe strongly in marriage, which makes this announcement that much more difficult. This is truly about irreconcilable differences.”
History is repeating itself in the Boebert family — their son, 17, will become a father in a few weeks months.
Boeber’s staff refused to reveal the age of the pregnant girlfriend but were glad to say that she is over the age of 14.
