One Royal Family member is trying to end the feud between Prince Harry, King Charles III, and Prince William.
However, the question is, is Princess Anne ending a war and potentially starting one between herself and other royals who are adamant they will never forgive Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for the damage they have caused?
Since stepping down from their royal duties in 2020, Prince Harry and Markle have been on a mission to expose all the monarchy’s dirty secrets.
Their bombshell revelations have consequences — Prince Harry and his wife are no longer welcomed by the royal relatives they have stained.
King Charles has been forced to put some distance between himself and his son and daughter-in-law.
However, Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken matters a step further and have cut all ties with Prince Harry and Markle.
As of recently, Anne, Princess Royal, seems to be taking steps to have a rapprochement with Prince Harry.
During the coronation ceremony, Prince Harry was filmed sharing jokes and light conversations with his aunt. Princess Anne also showed concern about Prince Harry while at Westminster Abbey.
According to a lip reader, Princess Anne turned “towards a smiling Harry and asked if he was comfortable with his seat three rows back.”
Prince Harry told Princess Anne: “I don’t mind, sit at the front!”
After the exchange between the pair, an insider told the Mail on Sunday that Princess Anne understands what it feels like to be the Spare.
The person claimed that she has always felt the sense to protect and support Prince Harry.
The source stated: “Princess Royal has always had a soft spot for Harry, and they both have a wicked sense of humor. People talk about Prince Andrew being the Spare, but Anne was the second-born, too, and particularly since Diana died, she has always felt a duty to support her nephew. Both Anne and Harry have a great sense of humor and more in common than it might seem.”
A close friend of the Royal Family also told the media outlet that Prince Harry should sit down with Princess Anne so she can help him resolve his issues with King Charles And Prince William.
The person said: “She was second to [Charles] and kicked further down the line of succession as a woman, but she forged her own path. In her twenties, she was bolshy and upset about a lot of things, but she came through that. He should talk to her about her experiences. She is shrewd; she could tell him a lot about what she went through.”
In a recent interview, Princess Anne appeared to hint that she would not mind having Prince Harry in the royal fold as she discussed the prospect of a slimmed-down monarchy.
Princess Anne told CBC: “Well, I think the ‘slimmed-down’ (Monarchy) was said in a day when there were a few more people around to make that seem like a justifiable comment.”
The latest reports suggest that King Charles might be more inclined to be on the same page with Princess Anne and eventually reconnect with Prince Harry.
However, forgiving Prince Harry might be too much to ask Prince William and Queen Camilla at the moment.
Friends say the pair needs more time to heal the wounds that Prince Harry caused.
