While Kate Middleton irons out her issues with King Charles III, she also has to deal with Queen Camilla.
Prince William‘s wife recently irked King Charles by not announcing that she was planning to appear at the flower show.
Sources close to Middleton claimed that as a senior royal, she does not need His Majesty‘s permission to participate in royal engagements she deems necessary.
It is now being claimed that the Queen-in-waiting has rubbed Queen Camilla the wrong way by not bowing or curtsying.
The mother of three hit Queen Camilla with the public and risky move as a form of punishment. Reports claimed that Middleton was displeased by Queen Camilla’s decision to put a massive and humiliating spotlight on the fake rumors that Prince William had an affair with Rose Hanbury, Marchioness of Cholmondeley.
How did Queen Camilla meddle in Prince William and Hanbury’s cheating drama? According to Radar, King Charles’s wife had a hand in Hanbury being present at the coronation ceremony.
And Middleton saw it as an insult. The source told the media outlet: “That obvious insult raised eyebrows big-time. Apparently, Kate was seething over commands Camilla made about coronation guests and decided to make her angry feelings very obvious.”
The royal insider added the Princess of Wales might “project an easygoing public image, handling difficult situations and people without a misstep. But behind her dazzling smile, she’s no pushover, especially when it comes to royal politics.”
Royal expert Tom Bower explained that inside the church, Prince William and Middleton did not miss the opportunity to hit back at Queen Camilla for her nasty move.
He revealed: “If you look at the Coronation footage, as the King and Queen leave the thrones and head for the exit of Westminster Abbey, you’ll see that everyone bows and curtsies to the King and no one moves a limb, a muscle when Camilla passes.”
The royal author went on to talk about Prince William and Middleton’s anger by saying: “And that’s because they were angry with her. No one moves. Kate and William were angry too. That anger went right through that small part of the congregation by the throne at the center of Westminster Abbey.”
Bower alleged that Queen Camilla also frustrated Middleton by having an army of family members at the event when she was allowed to invite only four.
He stated: “The Queen bought twenty Parker Bowles’ to the Coronation, and there were four Middleton’s. And what was even more noticeable was at the Windsor concert the following day, William makes no reference to Queen Camilla. So there is a tension there.”
The Royal Family is the source of a new drama.
