Prince William’s Only Daughter, Princess Charlotte, Will Not Inherit Kate Middleton’s Embarrassing Title

Prince William Kate Middleton Rose Hanbury Rumors

Prince William and his spouse, Kate Middleton, are the proud parents of three children — Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.

One day, Prince George will become the King of England. Middleton and her husband have already put a mechanism in place to ensure that Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis are not the Spares Prince Harry discussed in his bestselling memoir.

The heir to the throne and Kate Middleton have pushed for their children to have equal rights. The siblings are shielded from the media to have the most normal childhood possible.

Princess Charlotte is not a Spare

Royal expert Kinsey Schofield told The Express the parents do not want history to repeat itself and added: “There’s this heir and spare dynamic that we have been talking about for the last few years, in which the spare typically is so completely lost, and they fall into trouble. We look at Princess Margaret, Prince Andrew, and now Prince Harry.”

She claimed: “I don’t think that it’s going to happen to Prince William’s children, and I believe that this is where they’re going to break the cycle. I think that they’re going to stop with the spare talk, and I think the ‘necessity’ for a spare end now.”

Princess Charlotte and her brother will not be forced to be working members of the Royal Family. The duo are encouraged to forge their own paths, find purposes and have careers in the real world.

She added: “They will be encouraged to find their purpose and pursue those things, and it is not really about waiting to see if something happens to the heir.”

Princess Charlotte’s future in this modern era

Many believe that Princess Charlotte will take it a step further and drop her titles when she decides to enter the workforce.

One royal expert said it would be a burden for Prince William’s daughter to be Princess Royal or Duchess of Edinburgh as she tries to navigate the world of a working woman.

Former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond told OK! Magazine: “I think we will be in a very modern era when the time comes. I question whether Charlotte will want to be burdened with more titles. But I also think that she might just feel she wants to remain as just Princess Charlotte. We’ve got William and Catherine, who quite often tell the public to call them by their first names, so maybe their daughter will follow suit. Perhaps Charlotte will not even use the Princess title by the time she’s grown up and definitely won’t want to be burdened with more titles.”

Princess Charlotte will not be tagged with Kate Middleton’s silly title

The decision of Princess Charlotte to have any kind of career would imply that she would not inherit the embarrassing title that Catherine, Princess of Wales, received from Queen Elizabeth II.

When Kate Middleton entered the Royal Family, she had no career and might have had the great privilege of never working a job, and that bothered Queen Elizabeth.

Royal expert Katie Nicholl explained via Express: “Queen Elizabeth had grave concerns and believed that Kate needed to have a job and an identity in her own right before an engagement was announced.”

Queen Elizabeth and her well-known sense of humor bestowed on Kate Middleton the title of Duchess of Dolittle.

It is claimed that Prince William sometimes pokes his wife by calling her that name when they have minor scuffles.

An insider defended the royals’ digs at Middleton via Express: “Kate’s nickname could be a cheeky reference to the criticism she received before marrying into the Royal Family. They can also be a rather childlike family. They love to play games, and they give each other silly presents. I think it’s because they have to be so earnest in their public lives. Royals have always played in private. So William and Kate are really carrying on a long-held tradition.”

Princess Charlotte could be a game changer in the Royal Family.
