According to close royal friends of His Majesty, he has made his thoughts about Prince Harry and Markle’s decision to leave London known — he was “heartbroken” by “Megxit.”
King Charles decided not to invite Archie and Lilibet to the coronation — yet he was “sad” that his grandchildren were not present for the biggest day of his life.
It was confirmed that King Charles was “concerned” about the dangerous car chase in New York. When it comes to Prince Harry and Markle taking part in interviews, the Netflix series, and writing Spare, King Charles was “outraged” by these choices.
A royal source, this is how His Majesty reacted to Spare: “Charles is distraught. He’s angry and outraged that Harry’s aired so many embarrassing and damaging assertions, and it’s put him in a terrible position with Camilla, of course, now that she’s been dragged into the equation.”
King Charles has also revealed his feeling about Prince Harry’s bitter and relentless fights against the media via multiple lawsuits — he is “exasperated.”
A source close to King Charles revealed to Sunday Times‘ Roya Nikkhah: “The King brings Harry up every time I see him. I don’t think we’ve moved past sad and bewildered, but there’s a bit more frustration at his behavior because it just keeps going.”
Most recently, King Charles let the world know his blunt feelings about Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage. It is uncharted territory for King Charles to speak about Prince Harry’s private life.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have been together for almost two decades, and he has made no public remarks about their romance.
According to a new report, King Charles cannot fathom Prince Harry getting a divorce. In recent weeks, stories have surfaced claiming that Prince Harry and Markle were heading to divorce court because the wild car chase in New York, the negative headlines, and the bickering with the Royal Family had taken a toll on them.
The new Sovereign had a close associate speak to the Daily Beast to share some profound advice with Prince Harry.
According to the family friend, His Majesty, who is a divorcé, does not want his youngest son to follow in his painful path.
The King also believes that the stories about the end of Prince Harry and Markle’s marriage have no foundation.
The source shared: “The marriage has to work. That’s not a case of Charles saying, ‘Harry has made his bed and has to lie in it.’ It’s a case of a father wanting his son, who he loves very much, to be happy and to have his wife and children in his life. These stories are groundless, anyway. I don’t think anyone is seriously concerned that they are on the point of separation.”
Despite his concerns, King Charles is still keeping his distance from the Sussexes.
