Jackie Chan Father Daughter Video

There is a video that has gone viral; it shows legendary actor Jackie Chan having an emotional moment with his daughter.

The video of Jackie Chan weeping has racked up almost 50 million views on Twitter and has been trending for the past two days.

There have been many errors pointed out in the clip. It was not a real-life moment between Jackie Chan and his real-life daughter, Etta Ng.

Jackie Chan cries in a viral Twitter video with young actress Liu Haocun as his daughter.

It was actually a scene taken from the 2023 Chinese film Ride On. The scene shows Jackie Chan who plays a stuntman named Luo Zhilong, and actress Liu Haocun who took on the role of Luo Xiaobao.

The clip features the on-creen father and daughter watching old clips of some dangerous stunts he performed in the past. And the two actors shared an emotional look, and the young girl asked, “Were you in pain?”

He replied by saying, “A lot.” She added, “Papa, you were awesome.” Immediately after, Chan started to cry, and the young actress also wept.

The scene is beautiful and emotional, and it raises a lot of questions about Jackie Chan’s biological daughter.

Jackie Chan and his biological daughter, Etta Ng are estranged.

Etta Ng was born Etta Ng Chok Lam, or Xiao Long Nu, in 1999. She is the daughter of Jackie Chan and Elaine Ng, a former beauty queen.

Etta Ng is the product of an affair that Chan had with Elaine Ng. Chan has been married to his wife, Joan Lin, since 1982, and the pair share a son, Jaycee Joming Chan. Jaycee is a 40-year-old singer and actor.

Etta Ng and her father have been estranged for many years for multiple reasons. In an interview via E! News, Etta Ng confessed that she has no relationship with her father.

She revealed: “He is my biological father, but he is not in my life. He never existed in my life. I will never regard him as a father. She’s okay with the situation, though. I am not angry with my father and have never wished to see him. As long as I have my mother with me, I don’t need my father.”

Jackie Chan, a very private man, spoke about his daughter in an interview he did while promoting his movie Police Story.

Per Cinema Online, Chan shocked many by revealing that he neglected his only daughter. He did not say why and failed to say if he plans to repair the damage.

He told the media outlet: “The story touched a part of me, especially during the crying scenes. I can’t help myself but break into tears when filming scenes with Tian Jing because it will remind me of my Xiao Long Nu.Have neglected her for the longest time.”

Etta Ng and her wife Andi Autumn were homeless.

In an Instagram post, Etta Ng announced she identifies as a lesbian and was dating media influencer Andi Autumn. Her revelation was received with love and support.

She wrote an emotional post in 2017: “I am in awe at the amount of support and love poured my way. I am speechless at how followers went to my Girlfriend @andiautumn and my account to show us both so much positivity. People all over the world have been rooting us on as Hong Kong media continues to mock. I’ve grown up in a world of negativity and close mindedness but I am at that point where I realise that I can use my experience to tell my truths and help others just like me. Thankfully I’ve grown since the days I was powerless and uncertain what the world has for me. Thank you for the enormous outpour of love and acceptance.”

In 2018, the pair were delighted to announce they were married.

In a message posted on social media, Etta Ng announced: “If you never give up on love and you put all your heart into the family you’ve dreamed of, an open mind and warm heart will guide you to happiness. We have been in the persuit of happiness the day we were born. Abused as children who never felt love, we have so much to give.”

However, in late 2018, the fairytale romance took a horrible turn. In a video that was posted on YouTube, Etta Ng explained that she did not receive any support from either of her parents and that both she and her wife were homeless.

She explained via PEOPLE: “We’ve been homeless for a month due to homophobic parents. We pretty much slept under a bridge and other things. We’ve gone to the police, we’ve gone to the hospitals, the food banks, the LGBTQ community shelters, and all of them just don’t give a s***. ”

Andi Autumn added: “We will have to be split up if we go to any kind of government facility.”

It is not known if or how the couple got out of the difficulties.
